As you have got 4008 rank in the stream 1 it is very difficult to get allotted in any of the branch in sastra university. Bioinformatics branch is very difficult for your rank to get allotted and you may try for Mechanical engineering or Mechatronics. And you have ranked 3883 in the stream 2 there is little bit of possibilities to get allotted in the Bioinformatics if you go through 2nd or 3rd counselling you can be allotted a seat.

70 percent of seats will be based on the combination of JEE Mains score and board examination marks in which 25 percent contribution is JEE Mains and remaining 75 percent contribution is for 10+2 marks this is stream 1and remaining 30 percent seats will be based on normalized scores of 10+2 in stream 2 There is a chance for those candidates whose AIR is below 4000 as there are no detailed course wise cutoff exactly so, you have a chance to get into bioformatics

B.Sc informatics is an under graduate course whose duration is of 3 years consisting 6 semester , in this students use to learn about exploring life sciences by with help of computational science , the basic eligibility criteria to get admission for the course is candidate must have completed their 10+2 from recognized board with science stream subjects having physics ,chemistry and biology , admission will be done on the basis of merit college releases
