i already applied for biomedical engineering.I have received my rank number and random number but still i didnt get any information about counseling .what is the reason? when l get allotment?
At first I congratulate you for choosing biomedical engineering as your career. Generally after you get your rank card, there will be a delay of some days for counselling. So try to look after the news regularly. And the most important thing is to check the official website that deals with EAMCET in your respective states. In some cases, there will also be some states where they issue/send messages regarding the information required. So don't worry and check news daily

Is Biomedical engineering good, what are the future scope of this field ?
Hello Aspirant!
Biomedical Engineering is one of best course for various job as well as research opportunity. Biomedical engineers have a wide range of job opportunities that can include a hospital based practice as a clinical engineer, an industrially based engineer designing medical devices, a technical sales engineer, or a staff engineer in a medical research laboratory. A biomedical engineer may have jobs which involve the following skills and applications:
- Develop software to detect abnormal heart rhythms for use in a cardiac pacemaker.
- Design the next generation of hip implants using modern materials and mechanical design considerations.
- Investigate and perfect a novel drug delivery method to treat a chronic disease which requires constant blood levels of the particular medicine.
- Bring a product to market through the Food and Drug Administration's very involved pre-market approval process which requires extensive clinical testing.
- Manage a large hospital based group of biomedical equipment technicians and provide the hospital with engineering expertise in the evaluation of new and expensive technologies.
- Design and build a unique research device as part of a multidisciplinary research team to enable scientific discovery.
- Advance the state of the art one of the many modern imaging modalities (PET, MRI, CAT scans) either in the progression of current technology or the development of new ones.
And Future Scope in this sector is going huge due to various research in medical science.
Good Luck:)

Is it good for a pcb student to opt for biomedical engineering if he/she is weak at maths, physics?
Hi,
Yes, from now PCB students can also do few selective type of engineering. As per 'New Education Policy 2020′ student can do engineering without even maths and physics as they are not compulsory from now . Recently, AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) clarified that maths and physics is no longer compulsory for doing b.tech in few branches.
Students need to pass with minimum percentage of 45% in any three of the following 14 subjects to apply for admission in an engineering college if they want.
Those subjects are: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
Hlow can i fill form for counselling in btech biomedical engineering throught mhtcet pcb group having only pcb in 12th...as i have error through be/btech portal showing mismatch mhtcet details ???
Hi, the eligibility criteria for getting an college in B.Tech is 50% in state board exams and an entrance exam. So, you can fill form for counselling for B.Tech in biomedical engineering even though you are from PCB. The reason for your error is because of your details in the form and in the mht cet not matching. Check it out once and you can correct it. Hope this helps.

Hello Ritika,
Hope you are doing well.
You can surely opt for Biomedical Engineering through MHTCET counselling by following these steps:
- MHT CET 2021 Counselling Registration
- Qualification details
- Uploading of documents
- Payment of application fee
- Print out of Counselling Registration form
- Reporting at Facilitation Centres - Candidates will have to report at their designated FC for the verification of the documents. Students are advised to carry their original documents along with a set of attested copies at the facilitation centres. Candidates failing to report at the facilitation centre will not be allowed to participate in the admission process further.
- MHT CET Choice filling- In the next step, candidates will have to do the choice filling by choosing the names of colleges and courses in the order of their preference. Choice filling will be open for every round.

About ME biomedical engineering course in vit
Hello aspirant,
With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that the ME in Biomedical engineering in VIT is a good choice for you if you want to do engineering in bio medicals. Here I have listed some of the coll features about VIT in Me biomedical course so that you can get the complete info about it :
Placements: Almost 80% of the students from M.Tech biomedical 2019-2021 got their internship offers. Placement offers and internship offers are quite low in this course. Roles offered in our course are mostly related to research-oriented or top biomedical and industrial companies like Phillips, Siemens and Stryker.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi facility is available for students and faculty members all over the campus. Labs and classrooms are well-structured and available with all modes of classroom teaching technologies. Food and hostel facilities are quite good, and all sports facilities are available separately for boys and girls.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and experienced in their field of the course. Teaching quality of the faculty members is up to the level, but it depends on the students' interest and eagerness for learning new things. Courses are relevant and help to enhance the knowledge in a particular field.
Other: VIT gives the best stage like Gravitas and Reviera events which are for students to explore their extracurricular activities.
