Biomedical engineering program comprises study about tissue engineering, molecular or systems level biology/ physiology and mathematics. Students get to study about biomedical electronics, quantitative and analytical skills required to interpret data acquired and processing of medical data including imaging and enhancement techniques. The scope of Biomedical Engineering is such that according to the reports, there will be a surge in the demand for biomedical engineers and it is predicted to rise to 23 percent between 2014 to 2024. Today, people who are facing problems related to knee or hips are even opting for replacement procedures. In the past, some of the medical tests were quite painful. However, biomedical engineers work are working towards developing technology that is less painful for patients. Every day new ways are devised to do blood tests, screening for infectious diseases and in genetics. Today, we see a surge in heart and kidney ailments as well as problems related to joints. In order to overcome these, bioengineers are involved in the designing and construction of devices such as cardiac pacemakers, defibrillators, artificial kidneys, blood oxygenators, prosthetic hearts, and joints.

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognised Indian institution, including Science, Commerce, Arts, Law, Agriculture, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, B.Sc. Nursing, BPT, BAMS, B.Sc. Allied Health Science, Veterinary Sciences, and B.Sc. Pharm.
• Candidates having Indian citizenship are eligible to apply under the general category, whilst NRI/Foreign students are eligible to apply under the Foreign or NRI category.
• Candidates must have a three-year graduate degree in any discipline or a four-year graduate degree in paramedical sciences, medicine, or another four-year programme such as veterinary sciences, pharmacy, agriculture, law, or engineering.

According to the above mentioned criteria you can do MHA.

As an  instrumentation engineer there are wide range of careers you can choose from. They have a great scope in petrochemical industry as an instrumentation engineer or control engineering. There are other scopes in automotive industry as an automation engineer, who mainly works on PLC or SCADA. You can also apply for various govt institutes or Public Sector Undertaking Companies.
