I got 7013 rank in srmjeee phase 1 2021, can I get biomedical engineering in SRM?

ayanmukherjee045 2nd Jun, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned the rank that you have got in srmjeee phase 1 2021 that is 7k. In this rank you would even get cse in cyber security specialisation. So, you can be rest assured that you will get biomedical engineering in main campus.

In the year 2019, I had got 8k rank and I was getting computer science in the main campus.

For more information you can check out the link given below

Hello vaishali Jolhe

I hope you are doing good. I would glad to aware you about some eligibilty criteria of btech course in any stream which remains same in any stream whether it is a computer science or biomedical . For persuing btech , candidates have passed with physics and maths as core subjects with which he can take any optional subject like biotechnology, IT, Bio and he/she would be eligible . So yes you can definately IT is your optional subject

If you have any other doubt then you can always reach us to clear them :)

which have better scope biomedical science or biomedical engineering? what is the difference between them?

dandeharitha 11th Apr, 2021

Hello aspirant,

While professionals in both these fields need medical knowledge, they use it differently and require different skills in order to be effective. Biomedical science majors are hands-on with patients or research projects, while biomedical engineers are hands-on in creating new technologies that have medical applications.

Biomedical engineers likely will see employment growth because of increasing possibilities brought by new technologies and increasing applications to medical equipment and devices.

Jobs for biomedical science degree.

Clinical scientist, biochemistry.

Clinical scientist, genomics.

Clinical scientist, haematology.

Clinical scientist, immunology.

what is the difference between biomedical engineering and biomedical sciences?

Aadarsh Gupta 11th Apr, 2021

Hello aspirant,

Generally, I guess biomedical engineering could require higher abilities in math, physics, chemistry, and so on. Besides, biomedical engineering could be regarded as using the engineering methods to solve medical problems.

Biomedical sciences could be “traditional”. Em.. my principle investigators in the lab, who graduated from Georgia tech, always uses this word to describe other labs in our medical school… e.g. other lab may knock out genes and use confocal to capture the change of protein distribution in the cell, and to conclude the existence protein interaction from the microscopic image; but our lab with engineering background may use single molecule technique to directly study the kinetics of protein interaction, inc. the association and dissociation rate and so on.

Hope this helps you

All the best for your future

They also find solutions to resolve health-related problems using the technologies. Their skill involved the skills of biology, engineering, chemistry and medicine to design and develop biomedical products. They make the life of healthcare professionals easy using digital technologies so on. The salary range is between the 1 lakh to 9 lakh ( this may vary depend upon the cities you get the job).

Industrial Technology is the use of engineering and manufacturing technology to make production faster, simpler and more efficient. The industrial technology field employs creative and technically proficient individuals who can help a company achieve efficient and profitable productivity. programs typically include instruction in optimization theory, human factors, organizational behavior, industrial processes, industrial planning procedures, computer applications, and report and presentation preparation.Industrial engineers may work with supply chain and also overlook production factors, safety and budgetary concerns .
