To get into any field of enegineering, maths is a necessary prerequisite. Same goes for biotech and biomedical engineering too. Undoubtedly, the maths in these courses later is much less in comparsion to other engineering courses, but certainly not avoidable. If you wish to go for a BSc in biotech, instead of an engineering programme, you would not require maths in high school, and the only prerequisites would be Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

As the name suggests, both are almost the same and both the students will surely compete for jobs and placement opportunities. The difference being Communication Engineering deals with the Micro Controllers and Micro Processors. Satellite and Fiber communication is also included here.
In the contrary, Instrumentation Engineering has knolwedge of PLC and DCS and various other instruments for the measurement of Flow, Level, Temperature, Pressure. Various strategies for the controlling the same are also studied.

If you want to do research and higher studies then BSC BIOMEDICAL will be good , If you want work in industry after your biomedical graduation then go for BTECH Bio MEDICAL ENGINEERING
