With a 12th pass in PCM, which of the following B.tech courses can I pursue :- 1) Biotechnology Engineering 2) Biochemcial Engineering 3) Biomedical Engineering 4) Biotechnology & Biochemical engineering 5) Biological Sciences & Bioengineering if not B.tech, can I pursue them under B.E or B.Sc??

Awanya Dabas 28th Feb, 2020

Hey!

You can pursue  Biomedical Engineering with PCM in 12th class.

You are not eligible for the other courses as all the other courses require physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology as core subjects. Since, you do not have not Biology, you can go for Biomedical Engineering only.

You can also pursue BE in Biomedical engineering.

Hope this answer helps!

Hi,

The cutoff for Mechatronics for last round sponsored general category seat in coep pune was as -

2019 - gate score (384)

2018 - gate score (386)

2017 - gate score around 500

If we look at the cutoff trends it seems difficult for you to get the seat in general category.
