Recently I asked a question from a teacher on Unacademy that I got CSE in VIT Vellore category 3. If I get CS in top 10 colleges of COMEDK can I leave VIT Vellore? He said that if I get CS in top 3 Colleges of COMEDK I can leave VIT. Is he correct? Are RVCE,BMS,MSRIT better than VIT Vellore?

Abhishek Roy 29th Aug, 2021

Yes, I certainly support your Teachers advice. Incase you secure CSE or IT in any of the Top 3 Colleges in Bangalore be it RVCE, BMSCE or MSRIT, you may definitely prefer that over VIT Vellore. Being located near IT and Technology Hubs of Bangalore as well as Research Hubs like IISc Bangalore, will provide immense career scope, project and placement prospects in future.

Otherwise CSE at VIT Vellore is one of the best considering Placements, Faculty and Infrastructure across Private Engineering Universities.

BBA OR BMS which is better n which course has more scope

Arshiya 8th Jul, 2021
Hello Aspirant,

Bachelors in Management Studies (BMS) is considered better than Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA). Both are kind of same but there is slight difference in the syllabus. Go for any of the courses, in which you get a better college but according to me if you get a chance to choose , go for BMS.

Eligibility for BBA: candidate must have completed 10+2 education in any stream from a recognised board.
Admissions in college/university are mostly through entrance exams.

Job opportunities after BBA:
  • Business Development Executive
  • Executive assistant
  • Marketing Executive
  • Travel and Tourism Management
  • Event Manager
  • Account Manager
  • Brand Manager

Eligibility for BMS: candidate must have completed 10+2 education in any stream from a recognised board. Preferably maths.
Most of the colleges / universities offer admission in this course through entrance exams and a great deal of maths is asked.

Job opportunities after BMS:

  • Assistant Professor
  • Business Development Manager
  • Operations Manager
  • Executive Assistant
  • Marketing Coordinator
  • Account Manager
  • Trainer, Employee/Human Resources
  • Quality Assurance Analyst

Hello there!

Post filling of the university form, wait for the merit list. You have good score and there is a fair chance of you getting into the desired course.

College predictors help student get little sure about their college which they might get allotted at the time of counseling.

So its helpful to use college predictor-
