B.M.S
HI,
see bms stands for bachelor in management studies. now in india maximum college do not offer any specialization course on bms,. if you are a science aspirant and want to work in engineering field then this course is not suitable for you. for Information technology course and related career you have to either choose bachelor of technology in computer science or IT or bachelors of computer application (bca). now coming to bms course it involves management studies, financial management , audit, accounting, enterprise software courses etc.
now placement of any courses depends on the respective college it self. you have to choose college accordingly as per students review , infrastructure, placement records etc. best colleges for bms in india is,
colleges of university of delhi
indraprastha university
NMIMS
CHRIST UNIVESITY
ST XAVIOURS COLLEGE MUMBAI
XAVIOUR INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES.

Hello Ashwini,
It is one of the common question which is always asked especially by a du aspirant. BBA and BMS both are management oriented courses if we focus on the logical component and core component the BMS provides logical studies and BBA provides core studies. From both degrees are eligible to do MBA. But as far as choosing a particular course I will recommend to go for BBA because in BBA you can read various subjects like business statistics, business relationship, entrepreneurship, managerial skills, financial accounting, cost accounting, management, strategic management, project management, research methodology any many more. In BBA you will get to know about the overall management skills and it is career oriented. In case of BMS is a narrow based on course which only focuses on particular subject that is related to subject like finance, marketing, retail etc. It includes some topics like-
Cost Accounting
Micro and Macro Economic Analysis
Business Statistics
Auditing
Human Resource Management etc. This gives some sort feeling of b.com which has very similar subjects to it.
You will have more career opportunities in BBA as compared to BMS.
I hope this information will help you to understand the difference between two courses easily.
Best of luck.
