Actually you have to fill your chosen course during filling up the form. As per you have said that you have not filled the choice for BMS. So now there is no options to go or change your branch.
Here is the cutoff of previous year. For st category, 40% seats are reserved. So there is a chance of getting govt. seat

Both RV and BMS College of Engineering are equally good in the view of doing an engineering course and placement wise too. But, according to my research, BMS college has better faculty and there are different clubs for extra-curricular activities. In the view of a good campus, RV College has a better campus than BMS. So, if you want to choose a college with respect to a better environment then you should go for BMS or if you want to choose with respect to campus and placements, you can choose RV.
