Dear Pritam ,
Look, The actual meaning of Additional and Optional is more or less same . But the little difference is ,
Generally , in Madhyamik Exam, conducted by WBBSE .. This '' Additional" term is used as in that case , you may or may not choose your additional subject . It will not effect your total score in Madhyamik.
But , in HS .. The best of 5 Policy is accepted . So in that case , you need to choose One optional Elective paper from the given subject list as per your stream as said earlier above.
Some more information about HS Exam :
Hope this helps !

Hi
Yes, you can appear in NEET examination even if you are a CBSE private candidate ( private Candidate means those who give 12th exam but are not enrolled in any school due to some reasons like have failed in 12th and again appear in the exam to pass it by filling the private candidate form )
This is because,
The case of eligibility of private candidates for Neet examination is in Supreme Court but until the supreme court gives its judgement, private candidates are eligible for Neet examination, so one is eligible for neet as a private candidate in 12th provided they must have got:-
at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category
at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st category
at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.
Also,
******* to be eligible for neet one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December of the year of appearing gor neet.
****** There is no upper age limit for Neet .
****** There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.
For detailed information about neet examination eligibility go through our page for which link is provided below; -
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria
Now that,
limited time is left for neet 2022 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,
***** practising chapterwise questions
***** then revising the chapters,
***** solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation ,
***** go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.
To help you in cracking neet, we have neet crash course for you, the link for the same is given below :-

Thank you
Hello Aspirant!!
Even till last few years, the weightage of your GUJCET marks in ratio of your 10+2 the marks is was nearly 60:40, but this year the ratio is 50:50, and this is calculated on the basis of your aggregated score, not on the PCM score solely. It is based on the best of five rule, where out of all the six subjects the best five marks calculated.
Good luck!!!
