Hi Learner!
In most of the cases it depends on the teacher who checks the answer sheet. So it is most likely that teacher will award you the marks on the basis of step marking. Some of the rules by the CBSE for step marking are as below:-
>> If the question is for one or two marks, then it is not likely that step marking will be done for such questions.
>> but if the question is for three to five marks, then this step marking will be done and the marks will be awarded according to that.
>> If only formula and other required details are written then 0.5 to one mark will be awarded.
>> if the answer is correct, but these steps are wrong, then 0.5 marks will be awarded.
>> if the answer is wrong due to any error or calculation mistake. But these steps are correct then one mark will be deducted. It means if the question is of five Marks and you have only written the answer wrong, but these steps are correct, then you will be awarded with the four marks.
Thank you!

If you are not satisfied with your board result or if you think that you can get better marks, then you can appear for improvement exams.
Yes, Karnataka state board does offer improvement exams. You can apply for improvement exam in as many as subjects as they want. There is no limit on the number of subjects that you can apply for in improvement exam. There is a certain fee that needs to be paid for every subject. Mostly the fee is around Rs. 100 per subject. For all the subjects, the student has to submit a separate fee. The date sheet for improvement exams will be released during month of June or July.

Hey Aspirant
At the beginning one thing I wish to make you understand that appearing in JEE Mains exam so as to gain some knowledge regarding the possible types of questions, proper time management as well the cut off factor, is a better decision than to wait for the next year to come. If you are not being able to qualify it once then you can reappear with more knowledge, dedication and experience. It is true that with the online classes it is not always possible to gather the exact knowledge every time. It is supplied with drawbacks, however avoiding all those considerations you can still take part in different test series and succeed.
All the best!!!
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing good..!!!!
Since mains test is just worried about the NCERT recommended schedule, I would propose you to peruse CBSE NCERT books alongside your sheets prep.
You ought to realize all recipes by heart since JEE Mains doesn't include inside and out inquiries on an idea, it just requirements an equation based study. Likewise you ought to further develop your Chemistry very well since Chemistry segment fills in as extra (Mains has somewhat more straightforward Chemistry) . In maths, your Calculus (Integration and Differentiation) and Progression and series section ought to be very amazing. So set up these themes extra pleasantly.
Hope this information helps you!!!
