I failed 12th board in 2020 then passed in 2021 will I be eligible for jee mains 2023 ?

sharshit2306 13th Aug, 2022

Hi Anisha!

First of all, keep your morale up.

For appearing in JEE mains the basic criteria are to score 75+ percent in your 12th board examination. Then according to the main guidelines you give JEE mains thrice after your 12th std. So you are eligible for JEE mains in 2023 but you won't be eligible for JEE advance.

My suggestion would be to practice hard and stay motivated. Rest you can even find different JEE courses on our website which are really useful for JEE aspirants.

I got 180 out of 67 in kcet and 300 I got 149 in board what is my kcet rank please say

Soujit Das 13th Aug, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

The KCET rank will be calculated by taking 50% weightage of broad marks and 50% of KCET marks.

Cutoff keeps changing year to year. Keep in mind that your chances to grab a seat will vary on the following basis:

  • Number of seats available
  • Number of students applied for the same branch
  • Performance of the students
  • The category you belong to etc.

Don't be demotivated, you have secured a decent rank.

According to this score your rank will be around the range of 50,000to60,000 . This is the expected rank.

You can go through the link to get detailed information about previous year KCET marks vs rank :

Im complaining main 12 th board with the 62.2 % in CBSE Board and I got 34.0442744 percentile in jee mains I m from sc category any chances to shortlist for tes entry shortlist for SSB

jhasuyash006 15th Aug, 2022

Hello Anurag,

It is quite difficult to predict the exact cutoff as the cutoff changes every year. But yes we can predict based on previous year trends. Based on your result it is very difficult to get a call letter. As the expected cutoff will stand near 75 - 85 percentile. So it's better to prepare for written attempts like NDA.

In addition to this I would like you to have at least a backup option i.e. a college for graduation so that you won't waste the year.

Thank you and all the best!!!

i have already passed 12th from Maharashtra board in 2018. can i again give 12th from cbse or any other board to improve my marks,if yes how? i am really very worried i want to give neet and want to increase my marks so that i will get eligible for neet(gen 50%criteria).

Aakanksha 13th Aug, 2022
Hi aspirant
So you want to improve your score in order to be eligible for NEET. Yes you can do this. You can do your 12th again and again sit in the board exams.
You can also choose to give board examination only for those subjects that are required in NEET i.e Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and improve your overall aggregate.
You can appear for board examination for the subjects PCB and English through National Institute of open schooling (NIOS). This pattern is called On-demand examination system or ODE.
Hope this answers your query
All the best :)

I got 94% in board marks and 80 percentile in jee mains can i get ECE inn sastra..??

Neamah Fathima M R 12th Aug, 2022

Hi,

It is difficult to predict whether you will get in or not. You have less chances with your percentile.

getting admission in Sastra college in any of the branch you have to score minimum of 90+ percentile in the JEE Mains paper. For getting admission in this college in any of the branch you have to score minimum of 90+ percentile in the JEE Mains paper. 94.98 percentile and 95 in state inter-board can expect CSE /IT.at SASTRA for which 25% weightage will be given along with the +2 marks for which the weightage given is 75%. This is for 70% of the total seats. They need to enter their JEE (Main) scores, whatever the scores are. With your percentile your rank range will be 326517-173239.

For sastra there is no Cutoff and no minimum percentile required
