I got 90 percentile in jee mains and 64.2 in board can i get admission in Gb pant nagar University through UTU counseling. i have my domecile

Sevit Kar 7th Aug, 2022

Hello,

Yes, you can get admission to GB pant nagar University as your marks are enough for non core branches in this college. However some things depends on certain conditions like choices filled by the candidates, number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Non core branches such as electrical and electronics, electrical and communication, computer science branch. If you have some category reservation it would be much easier for you to grab a seat in this college.

I am a science stream student just pass class 12th from uttarakhand board but got less marks so can I repeat class 12th as a private candidate in cbse without changing my subject? If yes then OK otherwise please tell me the other options to repeat class 12th without changing my subjects.

Nisha yadav 28th Jun, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Yes, you can surely repeat 12th class with same subjects in CBSE board if you get compartment or for a few subjects. You can repeat it if there are not more than 2 or 3 years. If you have passed but with a low percentage then you can give improvement exams as a private student in the subjects you want to improve.

But if you totally repeat 12th class with all subjects when you already passed lastly without any compartment then you need to face some difficulties. you can look for other Boards or other schools to go to.

Thank you

i have got 70%in board and kcet marks 70 what would be my ranking?

Farhan jaffer 27th Jun, 2022

HELLO MY DEAR ASPIRANT!!!!

SO LETS GET DOWN TO THE ANSWER OF YOU'RE QUERY STEP BY STEP-->

FIRSTLY,

THE KCET RANKINGS ARE CALCLULATED ACCORDING TO THE MIXED VALUES/PERCENTAGES OF BOARDS AND KCET EXAMS WHICH I THINK YOU ALREADY KNOW--

THE MIXED VALUE IS CALCULATED THIS WAY-

FINAL PERCENTAGE={((KCET PERCENTAGE + BOARD PERCENTAGE)/200)*100}

SO YOU'RE MARKS SHOULD BE CALCULATED THIS WAY -->

BOARD PERCENTAGE=70%(GIVEN)

KCET PERCENTAGE={(70/180)*100} =38.88%

HENCE,

FINAL MARKS/PERCENTAGE=>

(70+38.88)=108.88

SECONDLY,

NOW THE ABOVE MARKS WILL BE COMPARED TO KNOW YOU'RE RANKING==>

SO WITH THE ABOVE MARKS YOU WILL GET A RANKING OF AROUND

2000-2500..

HOWEVER THE ABOVE RANKING IS ASSUMED AN CALCULATED ACCORDING TO REVIOUS YEAR"S RANKS SO IT CAN BE SOMEWHERE DIFFERENT...

BEST OF LUCK MATE!!!!

I have got 70%in board and kcet marks 70 then what would be my ranking?

Anurag Khanna 27th Jun, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank based on your given marks because the rank Vs marks keeps on changing depending upon various factors such as :

** Number of candidates appeared for examination.

** Top score for that particular year.

** Total number of seats available.

And some more factors, therefore your actual rank in KCET 2022 might vary with slight variations.

As per the marks mentioned by you in the question your rank in KCET 2022 is expected to be in the range of  5500-6000 .

But note that this is not your exact rank because it is not yet released and the rank predicted above is on the basis of previous year's data.

You can use KCET 2022 College Predictor toll to predict the colleges that you can get based upon your KCET 2022 rank. You can use KCET College predictor from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

whats the minimum mark that I should score to get a rank below 6,000 for keam , if my pcm board mark is 295/300

riya 27th Jun, 2022

hello, Julia

I hope you are doing well.

keam exam is of total 960 marks if you getting admission in B-tech through only entrance exam and you need to score more than 750 out of 960 then only u can secure 6k rank and there is total 600 marks if you are getting admission in B-tech through entrace exam+ board exam combined performance and here you need to score more than 450 out of 600 to get 6k rank.

you have already scored very good in boards so now you don't have much pressure of entrance exam but overall you need to work hard to secure 450+ marks total.

all the best.

can i take improvement exam after getting low mark in 12th chse board

Anamika Vats 27th Jun, 2022

Hi!

According to the latest notification by CBSE, you can appear for improvement in one subject in the Compartment exam just after your main exams. The better of the two scores will be considered as final. However, if you want to improve in more than one subjects, you'll have to wait for an entire year and apply for improvement as per Rule 44.1 of CBSE which states that a candidate can appear for improvement in succeeding year only. The changes were made to reflect the New Education Policy of the government. Hope this helps!
