how to apply for improvement exam ?? I am from karnataka state board I want to appear to improvement exam this year

Kushagra Singh 7th Aug, 2022

Hi candidate,

Improvement exams are conducted by boards for students who are failed or not satisfied in their performance in class 12th. But they need to apply for improvement in continuation year.

One can apply for the subjects he/she thinks needs to be improved. But you need to pay some applicable fee for each subject. You can visit the board website for latest fees details. You need to only appear in theory paper and your practical marks will be forwarded from previous attempt. You are also do not need to go to school, you can prepare your subject you yourself. The marks that you get in improvement exam are if higher than the previous attempt will only get updated otherwise your previous attempt marks will be final.

I hope this helps.

Thank you!

I scored 176\300 in my puc board in PCM and 66 in PCM IN my kcet what will be my expected ranking ?

Farhan jaffer 28th Jun, 2022

HELLO MY DEAR ASPIRANT!!!

TO CALCULATE YOU'RE KCET RANKING LETS FOLLOW THE STEPS I WILL LIST BELOW=>

1.FORMULA FOR KCET MARKS IS=>

KCET MARKS = BOARD PERCENTAGE + KCET PERCENTAGE

SO FOR YOU

THE BOARD PERCENTAGE SHOULD BE =>
[(176/300)*100] = 58.66%

THE KCET PERCENTAGE SHOULD BE =>
[(66/180)*100] = 36.66%

SO YOU'RE MARKS SHOULD BE 95.32

2. THE RANK RANGE ACCORDING TO PREVIOUS YEAR'S RANKINGS ARE 3000-3500

HOWEVER THE ABOVE RANKING IS ASSUMED ACCORDING TO PREVIOUS YEAR'S MARKS SO IT CAN VARY...

FURTHER IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE COLLEGES POSSIBLE IN THAT RANK ACCORDING TO YOU'RE CASTE AND DOMICILE

Is this Legal Or Illegal? Can he face any problem in NEET or in his future?

Kushagra Singh 28th Jun, 2022

Hi!

Yes, it is completely legal and is allowed if anyone got failed and reappeared in class 12 to NEET exam .

NEET-UG is an entry level exam to take admission in MBBS and medical colleges.

To appear in NEET exam, one should have 50% (for general), 40%( SC/ST/OBC) and 45% for PWD candidates as aggregate percentage for PCB subjects .

Best of luck for your exam preparation.

Thank you!

i am doing diploma in computer science on 10th basis and in private i am doing 12 board preparation in private so, it will be not bunde. on me ?

Neamah Fathima M R 29th Jun, 2022

Hi there,

Whether you did your 10th and 12th private or not that is never go going to effective for the studies. If you have the required eligibility criterias for applying any course you want when you will definitely get admission. It does not matter were you studied. The only thing matters is that you should have the required qualifications. It's okay to take 12th in a private institution you can still try for all the entrance exams to get into government or Central government university and colleges. It is never going to effective for the studies. Thank you

I laminated my board provisional certificate will it create any problem during admission in college

shivamtrivedi0005 28th Jun, 2022

Unless the certificates are cloudy owing to poor lamination, laminated certificates don't cause any issues during verification. The Department/Ministry in which you are appointed may occasionally send copies of these certificates to the relevant Boards or Universities for verification.

Hope this answered your query.

I got pcm board marks 240/300 and kcet pcm -70/180 what will be my rank sir/maam and my category is 2A , what will be the predicted rank?

Piyush 28th Jun, 2022

hello aspirant,

See, it is very difficult to predict the exact rank on the basis of the KCET marks out of 180. This is because the KCET Cutoff varies every year and it depends on various factors like difficulty level of the exam, previous year cutoff trends, number of aspirants appearing, etc;

However, looking at the previous year KCET Cutoff trends, you with 70 marks in KCET and 240 marks in PCM boards exam, you have good chances to get a rank of around 3500-5000 in KCET.

Please note that the above mentioned Prediction is totally based on the previous year Data which may vary this year.

Further, to know more about the KCET Cutoff for previous years, you can follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/kcet-cutoff

I hope that this will help.

my score in kcet in pcb is 98 and in board is 284 then what rank can i get

Maitri Mandal 28th Jun, 2022

Hello,

KCET rank is calculated by taking 50 percent of your board marks and 50 percent of your KCET marks. Then rank is calculated by adding both. According to it, 50% of your board score is 47.3 and 50% of your KCET score is 27.2. So, calculating both your rank for this score (47.3+27.2)=74.5 will lie somewhere in the range of 5500-6000. This information is based on previous year's cutoff.

You can also use this link to predict colleges that you can get based on your marks:-

I got 69 in kcet and my board marks in pcm is 216 what would be my ranking range ?

Anurag Khanna 28th Jun, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

It is quite difficult to predict the exact rank based on your given marks because the rank Vs marks keeps on changing depending upon various factors such as :

** Number of candidates appeared for examination.

** Top score for that particular year.

** Total number of seats available.

And some more factors, therefore your actual rank in KCET 2022 might vary with slight variations.

As per the marks mentioned by you in the question your rank in KCET 2022 is expected to be in the range of  6000-10000 .

But note that this is not your exact rank because it is not yet released and the rank predicted above is on the basis of previous year's data.

You can use KCET 2022 College Predictor toll to predict the colleges that you can get based upon your KCET 2022 rank. You can use KCET College predictor from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
