The previous year cutt off in pvp siddhardha. In cse branch is 12214. It's cutt off may be vary up and down. It's depend upon the how many candidate are in competition. And in performance of the students.

I am also doing btech with AIML branch. My opinion is Aiml is better than cse. Because machine learning scope will increases in future. So job point of view chances will increases. And get better job in future. And you will learn lot of things in aiml. Like robotic. etc.

Some B.tech branches other than CSE that are in high demand are-

• Electronics & Communication Engineering : Electronics engineering is the branch of electrical engineering which deals with the uses of the electromagnetic spectrum and the application of such electronic devices as integrated circuits and transistors.
• Electrical Engineering: Electrical engineering is concerned with the study, design, and application of equipment, devices, and systems which use electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism.
• Information Science & Engineering: It is pretty much similar to CSE. The only difference being CSE deals with hardware knowledge also whereas ISE has only software knowledge.
• Mechanical Engineering: Mechanical engineering is the study, design, development, construction, and testing of mechanical and thermal sensors and devices, including tools, engines, and machines. Mechanical engineering careers center on creating technologies to meet a wide range of human needs.
• Civil Engineering: It is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines and railways.

As you haven't mentioned your category, I take you as an OC student. Your rank is definately good but CSE, being one of the highly demanding streams, might not get you an easy grab. Ofcourse, Cutoffs vary from year to year, depending on the level of examination, no. of students appeared, and so on. As per previous year records, with this rank, you can get to pursue B-Tech with Civil, Mechanical, Chemical and Electronics and Communication Engineering. These generally put up cut offs above 1000 and below 3000.

Firstly congrats for your rank, you can get seat in NIRMA College with CSE if it is not possible you may get ECE or IT Departments But , The CSE Department is cool and the peers you study with are all supposed to be excellent. Many students from our college perform exceptionally well in online coding.

It is difficult to exactly predict your branch but with this rank and considering you are not from Karnataka region, you can easily get ECE in RV College of Engineering and may get CS in Ramaiah College and other colleges in the later rounds.
