Being an engineering graduate you should take the branch of civil or mechanical or electrical or electronics study of courses.The branches of engineering course is popular and acceptable for union public Service commission-that is of civil services examination. There is some factors to choose optional subjects for civil or Indian administrative services those are -the subject should be scoring,

Dear applicant although there are many courses offering a hefty sum of package to fulfill your desire of being placed in a good company. So overall the pay scale depends on your potential rather than the stream. So overall there are core B.TECH branches like Mechanical Engineering, computer science engineering, information technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering which offer a package of 4-8 LPA at an average to the fresher candidates.

It totally depends on your choice . First of all , you need to have science background in 12th class and with PCM combination for appearing in JEE MAIN exam. Well, after that you can choose your preferred stream .
Now a days some of the well demanding stream name are as follows :
If you are interested to do job in IT sector field then above courses will be suitable for you .. Or if you want to do technical job in Govt sectors then you can choose core fields like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical.
Lastly, the decision will be based entirely upon your preferred domain.. Choose carefully the stream you want( based on the College wise JEE cut off)
