Hello,
The B.Sc. course can be both 3 years and 4 years. In the 4-year duration program, you get the Honours program with the research option that provides deeper knowledge about this course. But in the 3-year duration you don't get these perks and facilities.
I hope it will clear your query!!
BSc is usually 3 years in most colleges. But under the NEP 2020 (New Education Policy) , many universities have started offering it as a 4-year course .
If you complete 3 years, you get a regular BSc degree.
If you complete 4 years, you get a BSc (Hons/Research) degree, which is helpful for higher studies and research.
So now both options are available, depending on the university.
Hope it helps !
Hello
B.Sc courses have now become of 4 years because of the implementation of New Education Policy (NEP 2020). Earlier, a B.Sc degree was of only 3 years but now students have both the options i.e. complete all 4 years and get a B.Sc Honours degree or exit after 3rd year and get only a B.Sc degree.
So you basically have an exit option after 3rd year which you can use to complete the 3 year degree. The only difference between both is that after 3 years you will get a B.Sc degree while after 4 years, you will get a B.Sc Honours degree.
To do MSc Clinical Embryology , you need a science background in your BSc.
Most colleges prefer candidates who have studied subjects like:
BSc in Zoology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Genetics
BSc in Life Sciences or Biomedical Sciences
Sometimes MBBS, BDS, BVSc, or related medical degrees are also accepted
So, you should choose a BSc course in Life Sciences or related subjects.
