can i include entrepreneurship and physical education with business studies and English for top 4 subjects in Delhi university for b.com?

Aastha jain 7th May, 2020

No, the 2 you mentioned are your extra subjects, you cannot include them in top 4. Your top 4 should include a language( English in your case), business studies, Maths (if you have), Accounts and Economics. If you didn't have maths, then you can put the subject you took in place of it in top 4.

Hope his helps

I dont opt for economics in grade 9 and 10 and and i am not willing to take economics in grade 11 and 12 and i want to study BBA in college. What should i do? my subjects are- english, business studies, accounting and physical education. should i opt for economics ?

rehan18alam Student Expert 16th Mar, 2020

Dear aspirant,

Yes you must opt for economics if you want to pursue a career in in commerce field like BBA which is a bachelors in business administration degree. You do not have to worry whether you have studied economics in grade 9 or 10 as you will get to know the economics from the basics in class grade 11th and 12th. Do not worry if you don't know the basics yet. Economics is also a must subject if you want to make a career in commerce field in many courses.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

which college is good for PGDM Shiv Shivani in Hyderabad or Global institute of business studies Banglore

Mayank Chowdhary 6th Mar, 2020

Both of the colleges are good enough and then they have their own advantages and pros and cons. When the picture about the fees comes in, Shiv Shivani Institute Secunderabad has a yearly fees of around 6.25 lakhs per annum while the fees in Global Institue of Buisness Bangalore has a fees of Rs.7.25 lakhs per annum. As far as the placements are concerned, I guess Global Institute of Buisness Studies has got great placement opportunities and infrastructure wise also its decent enough. The average package that people get from GIBS Bangalore is around 6 lakhs per anum. Siva Sivani Institute of Management, Secunderabad has adequate infrastructure like hostel, library, etc which helps the students to have a hassle-free learning experience throughout their college life.

Kindly refer to the sites below to get a more detailed information about both of these colleges and the choose the best one which suits you the most.

which are best four subjects out of English core, physical education, business studies, economics, accountancy and maths as optional for the Bcom (hons) in du top colleges especially SRCC for calculating cut off.

Pooja Kumari 3rd Apr, 2020

Hello Punit,

For Hons. In B.com the cut off percentage is determined by the best four subjects from intermediate. English is a mandatory subject. So to calculate the percentage you will have to keep English plus other three subjects with the highest marks (out of Economics, Business studies, maths and accounts).

All the best! :)

I have six subject in 12th cbse and i am appearing for boards now (2020) My question is that i have 1) Accounts 2) English 3) Economics 4) Business studies 5) Computer 6)Painting (Fine Arts) What happen if i fail in Computer ? Does the Painting subject is replaced with it ? And did i declared pass

Shivangini Bhatt 19th Feb, 2020
No. You need to score good in each and every subject you have. Failing in even one subject will be bad. We don't have any such system of replacing one subject for other in boards result. The result you get for your class 12th represents marks of each AMD every subject. If you fail in any subject , you need to reappear for that exam.

Is NCERT book good or POONAM GANDHI is of business studies class 12 ?

Prakarsh Kaushik 16th Feb, 2020

Hello,

According to me there is No book which is better than NCERT for class 12. NCERT Books cannot be replaced.NCERT Books keywords which maybe directly inducted into the case study questions of board exam. Most of the Topics are explained precisely  in NCERT.

After you are done with NCERT you can go for reference books like Poonam Gandhi & Sandeep Garg as they are good for practising case studies.

Hope this was helpful.
