can a commerce student having (english , computer science, economics, business studies, accountancy ) take Bsc system software in college ?

Anuj More 19th Jan, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

I am sorry but for anyone to take admission in the course of BSc, he/she should have completed 12ty standard with 50% aggregate in physics, Maths & Chemistry as compulsory subjects.

Most colleges give admission to students based on this criteria of this 12th Std & the availability of these subjects.

But some colleges also offer admission through their entrance exam conducted by their Universities. But you will have to research for the same.

Thanks. Hope it helps.

Can a commerce student (english, economics, computer science , business studies , accounts) do BA computer science ?

Neha Kanwar 17th Jan, 2021

Hello,

Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science is a three year undergraduate program which focuses on the mathematical and theoretical foundation of computing rather than teaching specific technologies.

In ordet to be eligible to apply to this course, you are required to have passed Class 12 with minimum 50 percent marks or any other equivalent examination in any discipline from a recognized board.

So, yes you can take admission in this course even if you are from commerce stream. At the bachelor's level, you can do a diploma degree and through that you can have a chance of doing BTech.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck!

in 11th in which order should we focus ln subject that is accounts , economics, business studies, English, applied maths

Rama Devi 27th Nov, 2020

Hello,

According to my knowledge, the order in which you have mentioned is a good one. But it depends on the amount of  syllabus it has. Concentrate on the subject which you are weak in. Then concentrate on another less weak in subject. Likewise make your timetable for these subject. For instance if you are weak in economics and also the syllabus is vast then give first priority to it. In the same way, allocate time for other subjects too.

Hello,

As per the subjects you have mentioned above it seems that you are from commerce stream, and some of the carrer options for commerce stream students are:

1. BCom general

2. Bachelor of law (LLB)

3. Chartered accountancy (CA)

4. Bachelor of business administration (BBA)

5. Company secretary (CS)

6. Journalism and mass communication

7. BCom Hons

Also as you had English subject, then you can also go for English hons, or as you also had computer science so you can also go for Bsc computer science hons.

How is Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies for MCA ?

Rishabh Jain 11th Dec, 2020

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies is a decent college for MCA. It is affiliated to Guru Gobindh Singh Indraprastha University. The faculties of the college are supportive to the students. The infrastructure of the college is also quite good. One of the key reason for considering this college is the Return on Investment (ROI). The total fees of the MCA course is Rs 75000. Although the placements are average at this college, but since the fees is on a lower side, one can always develop required skills and get good placements.

I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.

Economics from all these boards range from 92 to 96 percent. CBSE board has higher cutoff than ISC board and west Bengal board has lower cutoff than both the other boards.
