Canada
Hello Manu,
Unfortunately, almost all Canadian colleges that provide nursing courses such as diploma or undergraduate programmes (BN, Bsc) require students to have studied science in high school.
They primarily require English, arithmetic, biology, chemistry, and physics. and they must have received a minimum of a C in these disciplines. However, some schools provide a pre-nursing year to students who do not fit this criteria.
So, in order to be admitted to nursing programmes in Canada, a student must have sciences in their 12th grade.
I hope this helps.
All the Best
Hello,
Hope you are doing great!
Pre-nursing is technically nursing, but it is like the introduction to nursing. It prepares students for nursing programs, but it does not make you a nurse.
The pre-nursing degree is a two-year program that prepares students for enrollment in a four-year nursing program. A pre-nursing major allows students to experience the nursing field before fully committing to a four-year degree.
