Canada
Hi, you can go to Canada for your bachelors and masters. In Canada the years for bachelors is 4 and masters 2. They also have joint programs for it and they take 5 years to complete. The fees on an average for a an undergraduate degree (Bachelors in India) is around 3 lakh to 13 lakh per year. For masters it goes up to 11 lakh per year. Also, you will have to give English proficiency test like IELTS and their fees is 14,700 INR. The cost can be out of budget but you do have scholarship and loan facilities. The cost that I have mentioned doesn't include living and miscellaneous charges. It is an experience that is worth everything. If you still have doubts you can comment here itself. Thank you. All the best!
Hi Adarsh,
As you have completed 12th Standard, You can opt for Bachelors Program in various Engineering Stream in Canada for 4 years. You have good score in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics). You can also apply for Master program in Canada for 2 years time duration only after Bachelors degree. Now its all depend on your budget.
Canada has Both Public and private universities which offers scholarships based on your Merit score in PCM. You have to apply for IELTS ( International English Language Testing System) exam . Minimum IELTS Band Score should be equal to or more than 6, for any college eligibility criteria. Fee structure for any university would be atleast 8000 Canadian dollar(4.8lakhs) per year excluding leaving cost. Once you apply for Bachelors/Masters course in any university in Canada, You can apply for student visa where you will have Limited working hours while studying.
If you think its out of your budget (spending more than 20 Lakhs for 4 years), I suggest you to go with masters program in Canada, After completion of bachelors degree in India itself. Hope this information helps you. All the best for admission in Canada.
Thanks.
Hi Deepika,
After 12 standard, You should apply for bachelors degree of Astrophysics in reputed/Top universities in Canada or United States. After 4 years of course, You can apply for masters degree for 2 years and PhD for 2 more years followed by apprenticeship under great supervision. You become a scientist.
Apart from studies you have to complete test pilot program from a recognized pilot school. Astronauts required atleast 2 years of work experience as pilot for jet fighter aircraft or 1000 hours of flight certifications.
while undergoing all this you already hold PR (permanent Residence) for any of the above country and it will take more than 8 -10 years to complete all the above studies and you can apply for American or Canadian Citizenship. After All this studies you can apply for Astronaut in NASA, where you have to undergo many medical test and you have pass each and every single test. once you done with all this .. then you are ready to fly in zero gravity. But one thing its way too high risk then applying in Armed forces. So if you decided to be next Neil Armstrong, Kalpana Chawla or Sirisha Bandla. Go ahead . All the best . hope this information helps you to become astronaut and travel to space.
Hello rohandada01
I hope you are doing good . With reference to your query, I am glad to inform you that your profile is quite decent for the candian insitutes if you are looking for diploma . Some insitutes in which you can look for are geogre brown college, humber college for diploma courses. But for degress you need to some hardworks like boosting your profile by a good SOP and LOR to take a seat in universities like Toronto ,University of alberta . Make sure you dont have less than 6 band in any section in ILETS exam
Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future
Hi Aspirant,
For the scenario that you have mentioned above , at first I would like to give a suggestion that if you go to Canada for study which in comparison to Kerala MA college (kothamangalam) will provide you more global linkage and exposure to your talents and accomplishments. However since you have mentioned fees here so, it all depends on whether you have that much allowances to pay for your college or not or also even if you can get the scholarship whether that will be feasible for you or not.
Also other than fees and other basis of comparison you can refer the link below to get to know what will be the best for you,

Hope this helps.
Good luck!!!
Hello Student,
Canada prefers young and well qualified nurses. A three year degree course is valid in Canada. When you're applying for a job there, know that the course duration is not that matters, but the quality of your course. They will assess your educational credentials and curriculum and see if it matches with theirs.
There are chances of under employment in Canada if you want to pursue your career and job in nursing because they recruit their own candidates only.
For information regarding the nursing job and opportunities you can check the following link:

All the best!

Hi there ,
Kudos on your score.
Apart from your IELTS score you also need a good academic background. Usually, the colleges accept a CGPA between 70-75%.
Other pre-requisites are listed below:
you could also additionally check the college requirements for more clarity regarding the educational qualifications.
Documents required
Make sure to shortlist your colleges, check for the deadlines and apply accordingly. Ideally, colleges should be shortlisted 2 months before your standardized test schedule, as it syncs with the deadline.
Additionally, Canada accepts admissions thrice a year, or it has a fall session, winter, and summer.
Also, do not restrict yourself and apply to only 2-3 colleges. Apply for admissions in more colleges as it will increase your chance for acceptance.
I hope this helps!
Thank you!
