i am in 12 standard and the following are my subjects-: psychology sociology pol scicence economics english i want to study in canada and i want to get admission in dgree course. so please help me which degree courses i am eliglible with these subject.

Deepshikha Student Expert 14th Aug, 2020
Hey,
The education system of Canada is different from what we have in India. The subject combinations of your senior higher school does not really matter if you have a brilliant academic record and something significant that adds to your credibility.
There are no centralized Canada wide entrance tests, each institute sets its own admission standards and assesses the qualifications of each applicant individually.
You are also required  take English Proficiency tests like TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing). Every university has its own minimum requirements and scores with respect to standardized tests.
Apart from this, your letter of recommendation and statement of purpose are also very important.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.

which will be better 1. Doing government job in India or 2. Doing masters in abroad like Singapore and Canada and settle there ?

Kanith Sawkar 16th Sep, 2020

Hey aspirant,

This depends on your preferences and how you would want to live your life. Both the choices have their own benefits but it depends on what you would prefer.

A government job in India is a matter of prestige and one of the best ways to serve our nation, by working for the welfare of our country. You would have to clear competitive exams like UPSC, Railway Recruitment Board exams, GATE, RBI Grade B etc., which requires a lot of dedication and hardwork. It also comes with a lot of benefits like assured pension, CGHS insurance etc.

If you want to explore new places and settle abroad, then opting for postgraduate courses overseas is also a great idea. Keep in mind you will have to sacrifice and adjust a lot to a new lifestyle, which can be completely different from Indian lifestyle. The perks are higher standard of living, better wages and much more. In case you get homesick easily, don't choose this option.

In the end, it all depends on how you would want to spend the rest of your life.

Hope it helps. All the best!

i want to persue m.s in foreogn name some best universities in england and canada with fees upto 10 lakh in communication stream

rajaman9300 Student Expert 4th Aug, 2020

If you want to do MS then i would suggest you to please re think about the countries which you have chosen.

I am not saying that England is bad or Canada is not at par but there are various issues like not getting placed even after completing the course with good credits and gpa, not getting working visa and all.

You can consider Germany or Netherlands, fees are also nominal and job security is also good.

In current scenario even Germany looks faded. But still hope for the best!!

Hey Haiii.... i have backlogs in engineering and im unable to write exams is there any chance to get into canada and search jobs

Nikhitha Sai 8th Sep, 2020

Hello Student, Most universities and companies expect the applicants to have cleared all their backlogs before the date of application. In case, there are some, a few such institutions might accept them as a special case such as medicals cases etc. So I would suggest you to apply for companies that are fine with history of backlogs and in the meanwhile clear your arrears so as to improve your chances of getting placed in a company of your choice.
