i have completed my 12th from jsos and applied for study visa of canada and i had received a letter from embassy that my documents are from a fake and unrecoganised board. what should i do now?

DrTeeth 25th Nov, 2020

Sorry for informing you but unfortunately a single judge bench in Lucknow has given the judgement about the Jharkhand State Open School, Ranchi, is a bogus and fictitious. Therefore the 10+2 certificates from such a board are not valid. JSOS is not a recognized institution and the certificates are neither valid nor legal. This is the reason why the institute you applied to has rejected your application.

is jharkhand state open school valid for canada ?

Shaurya Kapoor 10th Mar, 2020

Yes it is available to be accepted in Canada. If you have a good score and IELTS score above 6.5 you have higher chances of getting in. There are few colleges that will approve this certificate but i should tell its not valid all across Canada , the chances are more for the united states. You'll have to provide them the valid reason as why you opted for NIOS, instead of the regular ones.

And then you have to go through the Rules and regulations and fill the online applications and sit for different exams and crack them.

I am looking to migrate to Canada, My IELTs score was 7.5 and CRS- 430. I am 40. I have a wife whose IELTS score is 8. We have a 10 year old daugther studying in class5. 1. We are wondering if applying for an MBA would be a good way to get a PR in Canada. How much score it can help us to get

lubhan cherwoo 9th Mar, 2020
Hi,
As per the information provided by you , your score in Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) skilled immigrants (Express Entry) is 430

Ideally a score of above 470 is needed to easily get a PR in express entry, though you can go for the student visa route in which you need to get a student visa after which you can apply for Permanent Residency which is easier route.

Can I pursue MS in Computer science in canada after an MBA in finance and bsc in statistics or what courses can I pursue in Canada to GET PR and settle there

Animesh Vats Student Expert 12th Mar, 2020

Hi,

Well MS is for engineering students and that is why I don't think your will be able to do ms after MBA and also when you already have a master's degree then how can you enroll in another one. And getting a PR depends on many things. Many jobs can get you a PR. There is a separate way of getting that.

I hope my answer helps.

All the best.

My cousin brother has gap 3 years between 12th and btech(mech).he is now in Jadavpur engineering college. Can he be allowed to go Canada to do mtech?or will the gap years be a problem and for which his visa can be rejected?as he is performing well in btech, then will he still be rejected?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 5th Mar, 2020

hi,

see for higher studies the gap of year does not matter much, you may have seen that there is many candidates who are doing job and after 3-4 years they are opting for mtech admission. to get admission in any foreign university your academic score, letter of recommendation , extra curricular activities, your GRE or toefel score matters most.

do try to make good score, a well defined final year project to boost up the possibility to get selection.

how to get ms surgery in newzealand or canada? I will complete mbbs in india???

Animesh Vats Student Expert 5th Apr, 2020

Hi,

Well in Canada you first need to get a ug degree in any course with pre medicine track and then you enroll for md program for four years. After md you get into residency where you decide to be a physician or surgeon and your speciality is also decided as you learn and go from junior resident to senior resident and then finally get your desired area of expertise.

I hope my answer helps.

All the best.
