Canada
hello,
If you are an engineering graduate, I need to inform you first that all canadian universities have an eligibility criteria that states 10+2+4 years of education and a bachelors degree in Psychology or in a related field is mandatory for admission in Canada to do Masters in Psychology.
If you haven't had psychology as a subject, you will have to do a course that makes you eligible to pursue a masters in psychology. Yes, you can switch streams, but you will have to pay the expenses of getting a formal education in psychology again. And if you had it as a subject, even a minor, then you are automatically eligible for almost all universities. Then you will just have to get the desired GRE and IELTS /TOEFL Scores for admission.
Hope this helped. good luck !!

Hi Prachi,
Its good to know that you are willing to work in Canada or US in your field(civil) of intrest.
But, with a degree from India or any other country and trying to work at some other one is not an easy task especially for freshers.
So,according to me if you really wants to go and work there at good packages then i will suggest you two easy ways to get into it:-
1.try to pursue a masters degree in that field from any good university of Canada or US.
2.try to get placed in the company's of those countries like:-Aecom,McDormot,etc;which are a collaborative ones witb India.
Hope this will help you out.
Good luck.
no its not invalid in canada. there are many students are applying in canada, australia ans other European university for doing master course. however its also depends on which course of study you are applying now. and what is its eligibility criteria. hope you may understand.
Hello siddhant!
To pursue ms abroad you have to appear and excel the Graduate record examinations(GRE), along with that you also have to clear an english proficiency test like toefl or ielts. The scores in these tests only qualify you to apply in the universities. Along with these scores, the university will also check your academic and co curricular records. So i would suggest you to try and improve your gpa in the coming semesters and start preparing for GRE as soon as possible. Along with this you should also try to diversify your profile by learning new skills, doing internships, social service etc. For further information about procedure and the best universities you can visit the following link: https://studyabroad.careers360.com/country/canada
Hope this helped!
Good Luck!
Dear Suhana, do you mean residency in MBBS in Canada with scholarship? All scholarships offered are either Merit based or Need based. For merit based scholarships, you should have an exemplary Academic record. For need based scholarships, the Universities will go through your financial records and assess if you are eligible for a scholarship. These scholarships only cover your tution fees. Now you need to qualify in NEET to study MBBS abroad. If you have already completed MBBS in India but want to complete the internship in Canada, it depends upon the Medical College that you are studying in. Most GMCs have made it mandatory that students should serve the internship with their teaching hospitals. Now you do not get a scholarship to work in any country. You get scholarship only if you are studying.
Hello Jyotsna, There is nothing like syllabus for IELTS exam. It is just a proficiency test for english language. There are 4 sections in the test: Reading, writing, speaking and listening. For the reading section, there would be an unseen passage and some questions related to that, you would need to find answers from the passage. for the listening section, you would have to answer the question based on the sound clip you hear. For the writing section, you would be needed to write two essays on the topic given. As for the speaking test, you would have to talk face to face with the instructor for about 12-15 minutes in english. I have given computer delivered IELTS myself and scored 7.0 in first attempt. I didn't do any coaching or read anything. Although i am going to give you official link for the practice tests:
