Hello student I'm sorry to inform you but no you're not eligible for Master's in Architecture as eligibility criteria says that Candidates must have passed B.Arch or B.plan with minimum 55 percent marks Aggregate.
But you can pursue Master's in planning as eligibility criteria says - Candidates must passed B.Arch /B.plan or BE /B.TECH In Civil Engineering with minimum 50 percent marks aggregate from a recognized University.
Feel free to comment if you have any doubt
Good luck
Hello,
Cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates applied, highest score, number of candidates in your category, number of posts available in your branch etc. Also each PSU has its own cut off depending on the above mentioned factors. It is difficult to predict the chances of getting recruited in a PSU because cut off keeps changing. In 2017 the cut off for NTPC recruitment for OBC category in Civil Engineering was 75.85 marks and AIR 179. The cut off for the same in 2016 was 73.12 marks and AIR 181. In 2019 the cut off for NPCIL for Civil Engineering under OBC category was 726 GATE score. There are less chances of getting recruited in a PSU but cut off changes every year. We have GATE and PSU predictor tool with which you can know the chances of getting a PSU and you will get E-books with comprehensive guide on M.Tech admissions and information on PSU Recruitment and more by using our PSU Predictor
According to previous years data, you might have a chance in Civil Engineering at:
Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering
UVCE
Bangalore Institute of Technology
Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering
Now this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. To check the list of Colleges that you have a chance at, please use our College predictor: https://dqxeclau.top/kcet-college-predictor
Also go through the 2019 Mock Counselling cut offs of KCET at: http://kea.kar.nic.in/cet2019/mock/engg_cutoff_gen.pdf

Hi Rajpurohit.
Placements are based on the colleges. As far as placements are concerned, they purely depends on quality and status of the college you are studying in.
Its a harsh reality that if someone wants a good placement then he/she should be from a good renowned college. If the ratings, popularity, students, infrastructure and quality of the college will be good, then the companies will come to one's college. That's why we are always advised to study hard to get a good tier I or tier II college when we're opting engineering as a career.
Now,
Placements for Mining Engineers:-
If you belong to any IIT Or NIT or ISM Dhanbad then definitely you will be able to get the chance of placement like Vedanta resources (hzl) ,coal India limited (cil),lafarge ,acc cements, hindalco etc coming for campus placement. Average package would be around 4-5 lakhs
Placements for Civil Engineers:-
In present scenario , the market for civil engineers is getting better. Top companies like L&T , Gammon ,HCC , GMR recruit students only from top colleges like IITs ,NITs , Govt Universities and some top private universities.
Placements in Computer Engineering:-
With every business and organization going digital, the IT sector today is a booming field as compared to other sectors and there is a huge demand of Computer Science Engineers and programmers. Some of the top companies that hire Computer Engineers are Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Dell, HCL, Infosys. with attractive packages sometimes worth crores.
If you are confused in these branches and having problem in selecting the branches, then there's a advice for you that always listen to heart and chose the stream or branch you are interested in. Don't choose on the basis of placements. i know placements matters but what matters the most is your interest, otherwise you'll regret it in your whole life.
I hope it helps you and if you still have any doubts or queries, then feel free to ask here. You can ask your doubts in the comment section or you can ask a separate question.
Thank You and All the best for your future.
Hey there
Choosing engineering branch is tough because students get confused but I'll say do not choose any branch because most the students choose it or something like that. Choose the branch in which you have more interest in. Do research a lot about different engineering branches and choose the best for you. Between mechanical and civil both are different. Mechanical is a branch which deals with mechanical things or structures and civil has construction works so you need to choose between them which one do you like.
