If you want to pursue Bachelor's degree in Archaeology then you must pass 10+2 with history as one of the subjects. For post graduate diploma course, candidate requires to complete Bachelors' course in any discipline. However candidates with bachelor's degree in sociology, history, anthropology are given preference

most probably a Btech civil engineering is only eligible not a Diploma holder. Btech degree for doing MSc archeology along with BSc archeology or BA archeology and a few more BSc branches.

ofcourse you can change you engineering stream in it or computer science in btech after completion of your diploma in civil.

After diploma, you are going to get lateral entry in 2nd yr. B.Tech. And specializations in B.Tech start after 1st year only. So, you can easily change the trade. One requires to qualify LEET as conducted by the technical education board of the state. Lateral Entry Entrance Tests are conducted on a state level. But some colleges and Universities to conduct Lateral Entry Tests.

every college offer this Changing of domain lateral entry but the thing is that it might be little bit tough cause you have to fill some forms and in private colleges you can just simply Change you domain.

It is quite difficult to change branch after completion of the course. Different colleges have different procedure for changing branch. Some colleges allows students to  change their branch in the first year of the program.

Since you want to change the branch after completing the course, you will have to ask to your college authorities about the procedure and criteria needed for changing one's branch. You can only change the branch if your college offers this provision.

Since you have not mentioned your college, I will not be able to provide details about the criteria needed for it.

As per your query , AP ecet or TS ecet minimum qualifying for general category is 25% . based on previous year data your rank will be in between 700 to 1000 its just estimation , ranks may vary in every year its depends up on the number of students attended the exam and toughness of the paper and number of students who passed the exam.

Try to improve your score in second attempt of jee main 2022 ,if possible . Otherwise keep a backup option of private colleges . Jee Main is not compulsory for becoming an civil engineer . There are various state level engineering Engineering Entrance exams like WBJEE, COMEDK, UPSEE, MHTCET, ASSAM CEE, KCET, OJEE etc and many university level Entrance examinations such as VITEEE, BITSAT, SRMJEE etc..
