Hello ,
Both colleges are best according to student and the faculty. But DY Patil Akurdi is obviously a better option than Pimpri campus. Both has centralized placements but Akurdi Campus is given more preference than second. Akurdi campus has much better hostel ,campus and other facilities than Pimpri. But for Civil Engineering Pimpri Campus have a advantage of faculty, value added course like IOV, good placement stats over Akurdi Campus.
And for better look of both college you can use Careers360:

Hi there,
Pursuing a B.tech course is itself very good as per current times. There are various opportunities in different- different fields. An individual will get opportunities based on their skills. Coming to your question, Doing MS is a wonderful idea for sure.
See, pursuing a MS Degree from countries like USA, UK, GERMANY etc brings various opportunities as well. It is for sure that in India civil engineering from a Tier-1 college is better as you will be able to fetch jobs easily. But in other countries it has a very good scope.
See, if you are planning to invest and then targetting to work in India can be a risky option for you as well. Investing in such a costly degree from abroad will surely take ages to recover if you work in India. So, choose wisely.
There are no issues in doing MS from abroad.
Hope you understand. Still in case if you face any doubt, kindly revert back!!
Thank you and make a wise decision!
Hi,
The best country to do MS in is definitely USA. There are many different colleges there but Georgia Institute of Technology will be the best to do your MS from. The academic, faculty, infrastructure and placements are really good. You can apply for scholarships. Also the best country to do Civil Engineering jobs from is definitely Dubai.
I hope this helps,
All the best.
Hey
Civil Engineering had some legal aspects for which a Engineer had to posted for work . Best way is you sit for AIME Part A and Part B exam and become AMIE which is equivalent to BE Civil. Else you can work in construction company or design firms if u know work while there you may not be able to certify and put a seal to work .Alternatively you become contractor and employe graduate engineer for work .
GOOD LUCK
