If you are more interested in civil engineering then that is good for you.....

The same goes for b.Sc computer engineering ,means if you have interest in computer side then that is also good for you.

Both branches or courses are good but It's all up to you that in which side you are good and more comfortable.....

Nowadays the scope is increasing in both these branches.....but on thing is if you start with civil engineering ans then start you own private sector with proper management and experience then this field is more profitable than computer engineering.....

Here I'm describing the difference between b.sc computer engineering and b.tech civil engineering

B.sc computer engineering

It is not possible to say the average package of any particular stream because it may differ but ya in top colleges like NIT’s you can accept a better placement and a good package compare to some medium level colleges, so NIT Allahabad is one of the top level of NIT in India and also the placement record of this NIT is quite up to the mark hence, you can consider a worthy placement from this NIT.

Hope you are doing good. Jadavpur University is a very renowned University and therefore cutoffs for entry into it remains very high. Based on past cutoffs, in order to get a seat in Civil Engineering in Jadavpur University your branch rank should be within 10 if you belong to General Category. The total number of vacancies usually varies from 10-15.

Yes, a B.Tech civil engineer is eligible for M-arch. M-arch is master in architecture, and it includes various topics like building design, town planning, urban designing, etc.

What is better after B.Tech civil? It depends on your interest. I can't comment on that unless I see your interest.
