Civil Engineering
Hello Aspirant!

Hope this helps. Thank you
Hello Aspirant,
To be honest a rank that is above 1,00,000 in KCET exam can be treated as a low score .
Government college Haveri last year cut-off for Civil engineering is 83k. So you have a high chance of getting this college. If you don't get in 1st round try for next rounds you will get this college.
With this low rank you may not get the branch you want but there are some colleges which accepts the rank above 1lakh so you can try for that colleges. If you got some reservation you may also get some better college than the below mentioned.
Based on 2020 data some colleges which accepts above 1 lakh KCET rank are mentioned below :-
you can use college predictor link from the given link :-

However, you can practise and develop good coding skills by self study and proper consistency ,so stick to your branch as in last students of all streams get equal number of opportunities.
Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future
hi,
see to prepare for gate exam you have to study as per the specific syllabus available in gate 2022 official site. basically the engineering mathematics , aptitude are common for all streams. you may check the youtube which has various free resources for different exams and gate lectures on different streams.
hope it helps.
Hi.
Based on your category rank, under Other State seat (since you did not mention your home state) you will not be able to get into majority of NITs due to high cut-off under OBC ranks, under either Civil or Electronics and Communication Engineering. However, you may have decent chances under Home State quota. You can post a new question mentioning that as well.
You can use our College Predictor tool for JEE Mains to help you in finding college and branch of your choice based on your merits in the exam.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck
