Hello Aspirant,
Some top NITs are like NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, NIT Allahabad and likewise, so answer will be in regards to such NITs.
It is quite difficult to predict the exact percentile or marks required in JEE-Main 2021 for any particular branch or colleges because it keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors.
But as we go through the latest cut-offs of 2020 then it shows that the closing ST rank was around 400 for Civil branch in NIT Trichy and around 625-650 in NIT Warangal and NIT Allahabad under Other state quota for ST category .
Now to secure such rank you should have your JEE-Main score at least 150-170 marks out of 300 and percentile against this is expected to be 99 or above.

It is quite difficult to predict the exact percentile or marks required in JEE-Main 2022 for any particular branch or colleges because it keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors.
But as we go through the latest cut-offs of 2020 then it shows that the closing ST rank was 389 for Civil branch in NIT Trichy under Other state quota for ST category .
Now to secure such rank you should have your JEE-Main score at least 160+ marks out of 300 and percentile against this is expected to be in the range of 99-99.5 or above but with regards to JEE-Main 2022 170+ would be the safest score if this year it sustains between 160-170.
Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you have got 66 percentile and you want to take civil engineering in juit solan so let me tell you that your predicted rank in jee mains would be somewhat around 3.5-4L.
As per my knowledge generally for juit solan the cut offs stays under 3L and so you need to increase your percentile to be on a safer side. So more two attempts are left for jee mains and the dates have been announced and try score a good percentile in order to secure your seat.

Hello dear aspirant
Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on successful completion of your VITEEE exam. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With a rank near to 58,000, it's difficult to get Civil Enginnering seat in Vellore or Chennai campus in any fee category as the cutoff for Vellore campus Civil was 35,000 in the year 2016. You can try applying for Civil seat at their Amravati (AP) and Bhopal campuses in first fee category itself as these are recently established.
If you want a CSE seat at AP and Bhopal campuses, then VIT AP and VIT Bhopal offer many specializations in CSE branch such as Artificial Intelligence, Cyber security and Digital forensics, Gaming Technology, Health Informatics, Networking and Security, Data Analytics, Robotics, Business Systems. These courses are future ready and have high placement opportunities. You can opt for the one you like from these specialisations.
