Shagufa Zareen Student Expert 29th Mar, 2022

Hello Candidate,

I suggest you just to get the state quota you shouldn't repeat the Class 10 because first it will require at least 3 years to complete the 12th again.

I filled general category in class 10 but i have sc certificate so can i change my category gerenal to sc? in 11th registeration?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 27th Mar, 2022

Hi

It is completely okay even if you had chosen general as your category in your class 10th, you can still choose  Sc as your category while filling the form of class 11th for admission

This is because

For Reserve categories like SC ,ST ,OBC , EWS it completely depends upon the candidates whether they want to avail reservation or not

If one   doesn't want to avail reservation then can simply choose their category as General.

But now that you want to take the benefit of SC category while getting admission in class 11, yes you can definitely choose your category as SC provided you have a valid Sc category certificate  as it will be verified.

To help you further,

Here's the list of options that you have for your 10+2 i. e 11th and 12th

---------------------------)  Science :-  The science stream can be further divided into 3 groups depending upon the subjects one chooses

  • ******  Non medical  :- Science with PCM i.e physics, chemistry , maths group. There's no biology in PCM group.

You should basically choose this if you want to pursue engineering/architecture etc in future.

  • ******  Medical  :- Science with PCB i.e  physics, chemistry biology.

You should choose PCB group if you want to get into medical field like mbbs, bds, nursing etc in future .

  • ******  PCMB  :- You can even go for science with PCMB i.e physics Chemistry Maths and Biology  if you are interested in studying both Maths and Biology in your 10+2. But yes, it becomes a bit difficult to handle both biology and Maths.

One advantage of choosing pcmb is after 10+2 you can go for both medical courses like MBBS, bams, nursing etc and non medical courses like engineering as well.

--------------------------)   Commerce   :- You get to study subjects like Accounts, Business studies, Economics & Maths ,Commerce etc. If you want to become a chartered accountant, company secretary, financial advisor etc in future, then commerce is for you. In commerce you acquire commercial knowledge required for business.

---------------------------)   Arts   :- If you like subjects like history, polity etc then you can go for Arts. You get to study subjects like History, Geography, Literature, Political Science, economics etc. You should go for arts if you aspire to get into Journalism, literature, languages, history, psychology etc.

Now, out of all these options  which will be the best and you should go for your intermediate/10+2  depends upon:-

******Your interest

******What do you want to become,

For example,

You should choose PCM science if you want to become an engineer, PCB science if you want to become a doctor, you should choose commerce if you want to be a banker or an accountant, you should choose arts if you want to become a journalist or you are interested in literature etc. So, it all depends upon your interest and what do you want to become in future so take your time and decide.

which job can i do after completing 10th as doing 11th

ayanmukherjee045 21st Mar, 2022

Dear student,

After 10th in india there are very less places where you can do a job . There is one specific place and that's under government the job in railways. There are many posts available for students in 10th.

The Indian railways is a good paymaster for these posts. You can earn easily 30-40k per month.

But if you want to go for some private job then you can merely earn 10k.

my dream is to become a engineer.i took 5 years gap between my class 10 to class 12.now my age is 24. if i persuing b tech at this age and completed at the age of 28 is it worth it.if i become a good programmer, then big company hire me like Google, microsoft or they rejected me because of my age .

Aditya 11th Mar, 2022

Hi aspirant,

See if you have done BTech from a good college and have relevant skills and knowledge about the thing concerned with the companies then your age would not be a major factor because all the companies prefer quality over quantity. The Google organises GSOC  to hire candidates who have done engineering and have relevant skill in off campus mode so here you see there is no measure pre requirements and the company only once people who have skills, knowledge and can be an asset to the company. Similarly if you do engineering from a well recognised college there would be at least 100 companies coming to the campus for placements so you would have ample opportunities even if some companies put age restriction. The major point is also that there is no retirement fund given now by the companies so there is no no problem in contrast to is for companies because they had to pay the amount only for the period the employee works for them.

Hope it helps!!

i m in class 10 i chosen standard maths but now i want to change in to basic maths can i do it??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 11th Mar, 2022

Hi

I am extremely sorry to tell you but now you cannot change your standard maths to basic maths.

This is because,

It's too late for the same as you have already given your term1 exams with standard maths and even your results are out for term and soon within a month you will have your term 2 examinations.

The added advantage of standard maths in 10th is that you can choose maths for your 10+2 but those with basic maths in 10th can't choose maths in their 10+2.

Follow the below tips to prepare well for your board examination:-

  • Go well through the chapters

  • Make short notes so that you can revise them easily during your exam

  • Go through previous year question paper of your board examination

  • Solve at least 2-3 sample paper for each subject

To help you further,
