btech IT course scope? easy for PCB student? coding is easy or not

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 24th Dec, 2020

Hello

BTech in IT has a lot of scope inIndia presently. Infact IT and CS are the most in demand programmes (in Engineering) after which comes ECE.

After BTeh in IT you can join any firm or become a :

Software Engineer

Programmer

App or Website Developer

System Analyst and much more.

I have a few friends who had bioogy in best 3 but still chose IT over medical as they had maths as a subject in 12th too and they are doing just fine. Coding is not difficult if you have interest and a knack for it. All my friend swho are in CS and IT find coding relatively easy but it depends from person to person.

If you join IT and find coding difficult the you can go for online courses on NPTEL (professors from IIT and other prestigious institutes teach you for free there).

Shrishty sahu 17th Jan, 2021

Dear student,

Generally all the non core branches are allowed to sit for placements of IT companies, in some cases even the students belonging to non core branches are allowed to sit for the placements. Since ece is a non core branch, you will be allowed to ait for most of the companies, some companies might restrict their placements for cse/it students but maximum number of companies are open to ece as well, do you need not worry. You just need to be have good skills for selection.

BCA or coding me se kya best rhega ?

Akshita Gupta 29th Nov, 2020

Dear Aspirant

well BCA stands for bachelors of computer application and in the curriculum of BCA you get lots of subjects which is important in terms of placements like database management system, computer networks, software engineering all are equally required along with coding languages like c, java, python if you want a job in IT sector.

Coding i say the most important for the placement point of view but for getting a job you should have a good knowledge in database, networking, operating system.

so choosing BCA is a good option. Rest depends on you.

For further query feel free to ask!

Good luck!

Hello candidate!
B.Tech definitely offers better opportunities than BCA after graduation but your options must depend on the type of colleges you are getting and the amount money you want to invest in graduation.

If you are looking forward to jobs after graduation B.Tech is the right programmes. However, if you want to pursue post-graduation in the field then BCA and MCA are can be a good career choice for you. Another advantage of BCA is that you dont have to appear for highly competitive entrance exams.

for MS , you should go for B.Tech.

There are state entrances and there are also national level entrances which conduct their exams, rank students according to their marks . B.Tech has better placements (of course, it depends on the college as well). The IT industry is booming and much of the credit to that is due to the engineers. Candidates passing out from the top notch colleges get jobs with attractive salaries in almost all the biggest companies.
