Coding
Hello,
BCA prepares you to work with computers at the application level, whereas B.Tech prepares you to work with computers at the 'technical' level (Software, Hardware, applications etc. ). It all depends on what you're interested in. While the BCA provides students with a strong understanding of technology, it is recommended that you complete your MCA to offer yourself a professional boost. A student with a B.Tech degree has more career options after graduation.
B.Tech is a four-year programme that leads to instant employment, whereas BCA is a three-year programme that requires MCA at the end of the day to make a significant difference. Eligibility: If you scored more than 60% in your 10+2 exams, you are qualified for B.Tech; however, if you did not get 60% but scored more than 50%, BCA will be the best option. Another important consideration is selecting the appropriate university.
1)IIT
2)NIIT
3)VIT, Chennai
4) BITS Pilani
5)LPU: Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab
6) SRM University Tamil Nadu
7) Thapar University, Punjab
8) Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai and some more
Hope it helped
Hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing absolutely great.
If you don not like doing Computer Science and engineering and coding and all that, and wish to switch to another branch or civil Engineering branch, then you have two options - either you can complete computer science engineering course with graduation degree and after that you can do Mtech in civil engineering branch . OR You can do diploma course in Civil Engineering.
But Computer Science Engineering is a very reputed and core level branch which has very great career opportunities and job options than Civil Engineering branch has in present situation. If you feel CSE as a very difficult branch, then atleast try for one more time, practice coding, practice computer science as it will bear very sweet fruit for you in future.
So, the choice is yours. You have numerous options. Choose wisely.
Further, here are the list of top civil engineering colleges in India that you can look :
IIT Bombay
IIT Delhi
IIT kharagpur
MIT manipal
SRM Chennai and many more.
You can look for more details about other colleges in civil engineering in the below link :

Hey there
In most of the cases of mechanical engineering the student needs not to learn coding. The reason is that mechanical engineers are not coders and need not to work on computers. The main thing to learn in mechanical engineering is to work on different materials and machines. It is quite different from computer science and engineering.

There are two things in this scenario if you take a lower tier college with cse then no matter how much you work hard you will not get a very good placements as companies providing high packages will either not come or they will not give high packages even if they come on the other hand since EP is a core field department so like in all other core fields syllabus is vast and you may not get time to code but here you should prefer dtu for two reasons first is the tag yo will get by joining the college moreover if you are willing to code then you will find time somehow or the other, moreover here the coding culture is great that will help you in coding but the only problem you might face is that some companies do not allow Ep students to sit in their placements(tech companies) so choose wisely but you can always go for off campus placements.
Well the coding culture of AIT Pune is not the best but it's not totally bad. If you're used to studying on your own then it won't be such a problem to you. If you need a proper explanation and proper teaching then it might be a problem to you. Overall it's good. Also the good thing is it's improving each year.
I hope this helps,
Thankyou.
