Hello,

It's true that today a degree won't be suffice for career advancement, there are other things also which are required such as developing soft skills, you can explore your interests by doing courses through MOOCs if you feel that's relevant to your area of job profile that you wish to explore, you can do internships as this will also give you a more clarity on what kind of job roles you enjoy, maintain a profile that also goes beyond academic, and I'm not talking only in terms of extra-curricular activities but even volunteering for certain causes that close to your heart, for example education if you wish to reach out to needy people and help them, you can teach them, and today with digital reach things too are quite different, basically diversity is the key here, you have to go beyond your academics, develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills etc as these won't just help you in corporate world in future, but it becomes an intrinsic part of one's personality, and now company do look beyond academics, hence the emphasis is so much more on developing soft skills, you can also follow people in the field that you want to be a part of, being well-read also helps a lot, as the world is changing at such a fast pace, be updated with the latest information.

In GUJARAT OUR STATE BOARD PAPER THEORY-50MARKS MCQ-50MARKS PRACTICAL-50MARKS Q.1)FOR NEET ELIGIBILITY ALL 150 MARKS CONSIDERING? Q.2)FOR AIIMS DELHI COLLEGE ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY 60% FOR GENERAL SO SAME 150 MARKS CONSIDERING? ANS THIS 2.QUESTION PLZ.... BCZ I HAVE DOUBT MCQ ND PRACTICAL MARKS

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 31st Mar, 2021

Hi Aspirant!

To be eligible for NEET candidate must have atleast 50% in 10+2 with the required subjects from a recognized board and same is for admission in AIIMS. And this includes the total marks (theory and practical both). So, as you mentioned that your exam is of total 150 marks and lets assume that you achieved 130 marks out of total, then the percentage of it is (130/150)*100= 86.6

So, in this way you can calculate your percentage and check if you can write NEET exam or not.

Hope I answered your query, thankyou!

what should I choose to do from GLS UNIVERSITY AHMEDABAD? B.com hons or B.com regular? Which one from the above B.COM program is best in GLS UNIVERSITY according to placement, faculty, students, extra curricular activities?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 20th Mar, 2021

Mohnish, I would suggest you to choose Bcom (hons) over B.com (//B.com) as the reviews of B.com (//B.com) hons are good for GLS university Ahmedabad. Also, Bcom hons is one of the demanding branch of GLS with almost 750 students in a single batch (average). The faculty members are very supportive, always ready to help. The course curriulum is according to the study of CA and CS. The placement record is good, around 70-80% (as per the reviews) in the companies like Tata consultancy services, Arvind mills, Jade Blue, future group, reliance industries, Axis bank, Indian Auto, ING Vysya bank etc.

Hope I answered your query, thankyou!

Is Anant National University a good option for interior designing

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 17th Mar, 2021

hi,

anant national university has established on 2016, It was established in 2016 by the Laxman Gyanpith Trust through The Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2016. however based on location wise placement statistics anant national university gujrat branch has highest placement record. based on placement statistics of sector wise, design area has 10% placement among total placement record of sector  wise of anant national university.

however I can not suggest anant university as a tier 1 institute till now, since this is quite new university. so you should search for others university or institute which are atleast 10 years old.

some of the best interior design institute in gujrat is as follows:

Inter National Institute of Fashion Design, Baroda. Vadodara.

Rai University. Ahmedabad.

MSU - The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Vadodara.

hope it would help.

Which college is best government or private?

surabhi ghosh 23rd Mar, 2021

Dear,

The decision to study in a government or a private college should be made after judging some of the basic criteria. First of all, prepare a list of both Government and private colleges  where your desired  course is available. Once you have prepared the list then you can see the affiliation of these colleges and their university ranking, mostly QS ranking is preferred. Thereafter, shortlist the ones with higher rank and check the cut -off as well as other admission requirements.

The second stage is selecting the college as per the financial capability. Private colleges have comparatively high fee structure and some additional expenditure such as membership charges, etc. Government colleges are affordable and also consider relaxation as per government norms- such as  fee concession to economically weaker students who can produce valid certificates. This might not be the case with private colleges.

Third criteria is to check the profiles of college faculty, Alumni database, college facilities which are crucial to pursue your desired course such as Laboratories for science students, Computer labs, Library , college playground, etc. An active placement cell and collaborations are can help in developing professional network. The college having research grants and projects will provide you with good exposure.  Also, check out the various Extracurricular activities and clubs which are of your interest.

Some other pointers for selecting between a government and private college are location and transport facilities, canteen, college surroundings, nature of crowd.

At last, it is the  student who has to be an active learner. No institution is perfect in all aspects. It is the student who has to learn the art of converting the available resources into opportunities and do well.

Hope you got a clear understanding of how to chose a decent college for begin your academics. Wish you good Luck!
