SHUBHRADIP ROY 9th Aug, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

For Commerce first-year admissions in West Bengal (B.Com.), the application forms are mostly filled through the West Bengal Centralised Admission Portal (WBCAP) .

The application period for this portal for the 2025-26 academic year generally started around mid-June 2025 and closed by late July 2025 . Merit lists are being published in August 2025 .

If you haven't applied yet, check individual college websites and the WBCAP portal frequently for any further rounds or spot admissions, as some may still be open or have later phases.

Afreen 4th Aug, 2025

Having graduated with a BSc in Computer Science and achieved a 64.62 percentile in the MAH MBA CET, your listed colleges represent a mix of aspirational and realistic targets for the upcoming CAP rounds. Colleges like Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management have a higher expected cutoff, requiring a percentile of around 94.65 or higher.

But many others on your list, including Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering and Priyadarshini Lokmanya Tilak Institute of Management Studies and Research, fall within or close to your range based on the previous year's cutoffs for the General All India category.

Overall, with your percentile, you have a solid foundation for securing admission into several reputable MBA colleges in Nagpur. Focusing on those where your percentile is well within the acceptable range is a sound strategy.

I have got 86% in Maharashtra Board and I want admission for ML Dahanukar College of Commerce for class 11th, so can I get the admission in round 4 i.e final round?

Yash Teotia 5th Aug, 2025

Hello

With 86% in Class 10th in Maharashtra Board, you have a good chance of getting admission in ML Dahanukar College of Commerce in Class 12th in 4th round.

In the final round, the cutoff goes to 85-87% and you have 86% which falls in that bracket. So there is probability of getting that college in final round.

Yash Teotia 23rd Jul, 2025

Hello Mona

As you are a Class 12th CBSE Commerce Student and have failed in Accountancy, you will be shown "PASS" as you have passed in five subjects including the additional subject (also, once check what is written on your result through CBSE result website).

The Accountancy subject will show "FAILED" or "INELIGIBLE".

It is up to you if you want to give supplementary exam and upon your future goals. Because in the future some organisations may ask for full PASS and while some may not.

Thank You!!!

I want to pursue gnm in your esteemed institution as I have passed 12th with commerce stream (81%)can I get admissiom for gnm and what is the process and documents required for admission as I am local only and will visit soon the campus for the admission process

Nikita shahi 12th Aug, 2025

Hello Mehakdeep!

Generally, GNM admission is open to students from the science stream (PCB) in most states, as nursing involves medical and biological studies. However, some private institutions or state boards do accept commerce or arts students if they meet other criteria, so it’s worth checking directly with the college you’re interested in. The process usually starts with filling an application form (online or offline), followed by merit-based selection or an entrance test depending on the institution. You’ll need documents such as your 10th and 12th marksheets, transfer certificate, migration certificate (if applicable), passport-size photos, Aadhaar card, and caste/income certificate if you’re applying under reservation. Since you’re a local and plan to visit the campus, I’d recommend carrying originals and photocopies for quick verification. Do clarify the eligibility for commerce students before applying to save time.

Best of luck for your nursing journey, and thank you!
