How can student take admission in class 12th after completing 11th from love dale ICSE school from commerce stream

Mallika Thaledder 20th Sep, 2025

If you have completed your class 11 in the commerce stream from ICSE school, then the easiest option for you is to continue class 12th in the same school, as it avoids extra paperwork and adjustment challenges. However, if you wish to change your board, like CBSE , then you will need a transfer certificate, Class 11th marksheet and a migration certificate.

Hello,

Yes, you are eligible for CUET . In CUET eligibility, only your Class 12 marks are considered, not Class 10.

Since you have passed Class 12 with Commerce, you can apply for CUET and take admission in good universities like DU, Chandigarh University, etc., if you meet their subject and percentage requirements.

Hope it helps !

I am learning in 11 th commerce in wbbse board . I would join to nit durgapur

Ankur Mehta 16th Aug, 2025

If you are studying in Class 11 Commerce under WBBSE board, then admission to NIT Durgapur is not possible. NITs offer admission mainly to B.Tech programs through the JEE Main exam, which requires Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in 10+2. Since you are from the Commerce stream, you are not eligible for JEE Main. However, after Commerce you can choose other good options like B.Com, BBA, CA, CS, CMA, MBA or reputed universities and colleges for commerce-related courses.

Hie!! I want to crack CUET PG mcom in commerce to get a better college and for my wider experience. So guide me and help me ,cracking the entrance exam.

Nikita shahi 15th Aug, 2025

If your goal is to crack the CUET PG exam for M.Com admission, the first step is to understand the syllabus and exam pattern in detail. CUET PG for commerce typically includes sections on Accounting, Business Laws, Economics, Business Mathematics, and General Knowledge related to commerce and finance. Start by collecting authentic study material from reputed publishers or CUET-specific guidebooks. Create a study timetable that divides your preparation into phases—first, cover the syllabus completely; then, move on to practicing previous years’ papers; finally, focus on mock tests. Practice is extremely important because CUET is a competitive exam, and accuracy as well as speed will matter. Since M.Com admission is also about securing a seat in a good college, aim to score higher than the cut-off range of your preferred universities.

Thank you!

I want to study in commerce Which subject available in your collage

Nikita shahi 14th Aug, 2025

Hello!

Commerce as a stream offers a variety of subjects, and the availability may differ from college to college. Generally, core subjects include Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, and English. Some colleges also offer additional subjects like Mathematics, Entrepreneurship, Information Practices, or Marketing. In undergraduate commerce degrees such as B.Com or BBA, you might also find subjects like Corporate Law, Financial Management, Auditing, and Taxation. It’s always best to visit the official website of the college you are interested in or talk to the admissions office for an exact list. Choosing the right combination of subjects is important depending on whether you want to go into finance, business management, law, or other related fields later.

Thank you for asking, and best wishes for your studies !

Hello,

If you have completed Class 12 with Commerce and are unsure about your goal, here are some good undergraduate options:

  • B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): General degree, good for careers in accounting, finance, or business.

  • BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): Best if you want to work in management or start your own business.

  • BA Economics: Good for careers in economics, research, or policy-making.

  • BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): Suitable if you are interested in IT and software.

  • Professional courses: You can combine your degree with CA, CS, CMA, or CFA for better career prospects.

Choose based on your interest and strengths. Think about whether you enjoy subjects like accounts, economics, management, or computers. You can also take career counselling or aptitude tests to get more clarity.

I am doing MBA Finance. Am I eligible for UGC Net Commerce subject?

Anannya sarma 12th Aug, 2025

If your MBA (Finance) is from an accredited university and you have at least 55% of the possible points (or 50% for reserved categories), you can take the UGC NET in Commerce.
Your MBA in finance is relevant because UGC NET Commerce covers business, accounting, finance, economics, and management topics.
If you are well-versed in the fundamentals of commerce, pick commerce.

As an alternative, you can choose UGC NET Management, which is closely related to MBA courses.
Your subject-matter expertise and career objectives should guide your decision.
