Hello Ankita,
Yes, there is no doubt about this. If you crack CUET with good marks you will be able to get admission to your desired college. It applies to every entrance exam. But you have to clear the cut off for your category to do so. Many factors will decide the cut off of the CUET exam. You need to score at least more than your category cut off to be eligible for admission to your desired college. Here reservation also comes into play.
General EWS - 10%
Scheduled Castes (SC) - 15%
Scheduled Tribes (ST) - 7.5%
Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer) - 27%
Persons with Disabilities (PwD) - 5%
So, you need to score more than your category cut off just to be on the safe side. You can get a basic idea about the cut off by looking at the previous year's cut off statistics.

ALL THE BEST
Hello aspirant,
CUET means common university entrance test in which one is eligible to apply for best of the best universities all over India. Before CUET candidates had to apply for different exams in different universities but now NTA made it easy to apply for India's top notch universities through one exam.
With regards to your query, you are applying for CUET 2022. Your marks in CUET will only be considered on the basis of University you are applying for. So it will impossible for someone to get a university other than he applied for. You are eligible only for the university you are applying. NTA has closed the CUET 2022 application form correction window on May 31 so can not do any corrections as well. So you have to do preparation only for the Universities you have applied.
Hope this helped you:)
