Tezpur University, Tezpur was established in 1994, by an Act of the Parliament of India, Tezpur University Act, 1993 (Act No. 45), as a non-affiliating and residential Central University. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Labs, ICTS labs, smart classrooms, and the central library are available. The quality of the food is average. There are swimming pools, a basketball court, a badminton court, and volleyball courts for both girls and boys. A gymnasium is available.
