What is the highest salary of an Electronics and Communication engineer studied at Kerala engineering colleges?

Prakhar Vashishtha 20th Jun, 2019
Hello aspirant. Salary package solely depends on the type of college you are admitted to. If talking only about government colleges like NITs and IITs then the highest might shoot up to 40-50 lakhs or even further based on your skills and performance during the course. If we talk about private colleges then most of the people don't even get placed in the first place, forget about a respectable salary.

From which books we should prepare for JEE mains and advance from standard 9th onwards, which books you would recommend sir?

Saloni 19th Jun, 2019

Hi Paril,

Since you are planning to start this early in Class 9, Sheer practice and determination can take you a long way in acquiring that talent and beating those aspirants who are gifted but don’t do their share of hard work.

If you want to prepare for competitive exams then prepare for NTSE and various Olympiads. this tremendously helped me to understand the competition around myself. Solving mental ability questions which were a must for NTSE exam really helped me a lot to tackle questions/ develop a solid problem-solving approach which is required to crack a competition Like IIT JEE or NEET/AIIMS.

Moreover, right now if you want to initiate your JEE preparation then understand the basics of your chapters well as you are going to study advanced version of these chapters in 11 and 12.

Physics: Start with HC Verma. Then go ahead with IIT JEE Questions directly. Also other books from Arihant and GRB are good .. However if u have time left after doing previous years, you can solve Irodov.

Chemistry: NCERT most important. Other than that, for reference, use OP Tandon. Other books from GRB and Arihant are also good! Do mole concept and stoichiometry as that is very important for JEE purpose.

Maths: Start with NCERT and then complete RD SHARMA. You will find it very useful for school as well as JEE purpose. Advanced Problems in JEE (Balaji) and then previous year questions from Arihant 39 years can be helpful in future.

Do let us know if you have any questions or concerns in the comment section below !!
Hope it helps !!
All the best !

rajaman9300 Student Expert 18th Jun, 2019

Hello Sai

Yes, why not. Just have a positive intent towards any Exam. GATE exam is also one of the exam only nothing special. You can also give IES exam for Engineering Services. Both are little bit different as in GATE you to give only one paper of 100 marks of 65 questions. In IES you have to clear two papers.

Can i get job in abroad by studying ece

DrTeeth 16th Nov, 2020

Canada and Australia have a point based immigration policy, and the exams for which are conducted regularly throughout the year.

Even though European countries give work permits, the options are less and competition is more.

The best country that a engineer can land in is the USA. You can expect some relaxation in their immigration policies after the election of 2020. If you belong to premier and top institutions like IITs, gettin a job would be comparatively easier. Another option would be to complete your PG from the US as this will widen your options for selection there.

Another great option would be Germany.

In conclusion, the best way is to pursue your Masters from the country you desire to get a job in.

Which course offer more Job opportunity Electrical and electronics engineering or electronic and communication engineering ?

Gayatri Suman 14th Jun, 2019
Hello,
In terms of placements, EEE the competition is not very tough and the availability of jobs too are good. Electrical graduates are employed in Electricity Boards/Utility companies responsible for installation, maintenance, operation of power handling equipment and systems.
In ECE, the scope to land into government jobs is great. An electronics engineer can find a job in Central Government, State Governments and their sponsored corporations, private industries dealing in manufacture, sales and services of electronics consumer goods and appliances. Additionally, electronics engineers are also absorbed into the broadcast industry, research establishments, and defence.

Hello aspirant. It depends on which company, at what post (senior or junior) and also the city where you are currently posted. Mostly you can expect it to be a regular 9 to 5 job. Nothing much exciting. If you have had given complete information the answer would also have been more precise.

I heard few informations like by doing Engineering except campus placements, theres no chance for job opportunity. Is it really true?

Pratyusha Tripathy 1st Jun, 2019
Hello Rakshitha,

I can understand your state of mind but the rumours that you absolutely can't get a job without on-campus placement is not true. You most definitely can get a job even if you couldn't get placed through on-campus placement. There are tons of job opportunities out there. You just have to look for them.
If you will work hard and you have the required skills then you can easily get a job.
According to Economic times india, 94% of engineering graduates lack the skills to get hired so it's difficult for the companies to hire people who are lacking in skills. So work on your skills. You can definitely get placed.
Hope this helps. If you have any further queries, please feel free to ask. We will be happy to help.
