As per your question, your intermediate 2nd year result will itself declare the best marks you scored. For example if you have scored more marks in improvements exam then, that will resemble in your marksheet. If it did not resemble then carry the certificate with you for the counselling.

You may have a chance to get Computer Science (CS) in government engineering colleges, but it will likely depend on specific cutoffs and seat availability.

With an 85.79 percentile, you may have a chance to secure a CS seat in RTU Kota, but it could be competitive. It will depend on how high the cutoff goes for general category students in the CS branch.

Other government-affiliated colleges under REAP may offer you a better chance for admission into CS or related branches like IT.

If you passed your 12th from Madhya Pradesh then you will be having the home state reservation of that in JoSAA Counselling and even in most of the counselling the criteria to avail home state reservation will be the similar one.

Honestly, 54 percentile score in JEE Mains is too low to get into any NIT or IIT irrespective of which caste or class you belongs to. Jee mains is a very tough exam and the cutoff of IIT and NIT went to 99 percentile. So I suggest you to bounce back, prepare hard and try your best next year.

As Computer Science is the most demanding branch now a days, so the cutoff goes very high.
