According to your percentile your overall rank will be in the range of 24552 - 27600.

Also talking about your chances to get a seat in Sgits indore, you can get it.
But you may also try for the Dr Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar , for Computer Science branch through JoSAA Counselling.

Also in other state you do have a chance to get a seat in IIITs for  Computer Science branch.

Nit agt cs percentile required

Lalbee 12th Feb, 2024

Hello Aspirant,

Many variables, including caste, home state, and branch, are involved. If you are from Tripura and are seeking for a branch like CS, ECE 170–180 would enough, and if you are from Tripura, scoring in the range of 90–100 (or even lower if the question is difficult) is sufficient. If you are from outside of Tripura, branches like ME and EE 160–170 will be enough, and for students from Tripura, branches like 80–90 are adequate as well.

i got 246 marks in jee main 2024 what would be my expected percentile and where will i get a cs with this score

satyamercedes0626 6th Feb, 2024

Hello,

Hope you are doing great.

To answer your question if you are expecting marks 246 out off 300, Assuming you have attended Jan 27 th 1 st shift then your percentile would be around 99.86 - 99.94. As JEE Mains is conducted national wide every year there’s a very high chance that above mentioned percentile will vary. With the such kind of percentile theres a high chance of getting CSE seat in top IIT’s and NIT’s.

Hope this helps!!

Tanya Gupta 25th Feb, 2024

Hello,

Your chances of securing a seat in Computer Science Engineering with a cutoff score of 145 in the SC category depend on various factors, including the total number of seats available, the number of applicants, and the cutoff trends from previous years. It is very  essential to check the cutoff scores for Computer Science Engineering in the colleges you're interested in applying to and compare them with your own score.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

should i prefer cs branch in a tier 2 college or a lower engineering branch (eee/mech or lower) in an nit? p.s. i have no specific interest in core/lower engineering and aim to work in the tech industry in india or abroad.

satyamercedes0626 26th Jan, 2024

Hello,

Hope you are doing great.

So, if you are wishing to get enrolled in technology field, then it will be better for you to get enrolled in the CSE branch and choose a specialization in the same such IT or AI or Machine Learning. However if you are interested in the other courses such as manufacturing technology or something, then you can go for the the Mech branch or ECE or EEE branches.

Hope this helps!!
