Tanya Gupta 27th Jul, 2024

Hello,

For admission to BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) in the OBC category through NEET, candidates generally need to score between 400 to 500 marks. However, cut-off marks can vary each year based on factors like the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and seat availability. Check the latest cut-off trends and specific college requirements for the most accurate information.

Hope this helps you,

can i get electronics and instrumentation engineering at manipal university with 20k rank in manipal entrance test?

Tanya Gupta 23rd Jun, 2024

Hello,

With a rank of 20,000 in the Manipal Entrance Test (MET), securing a seat in the Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering program at Manipal University might be challenging. Admission to this program typically requires a much higher rank due to its popularity and limited seats. The cutoff ranks for such sought-after engineering courses usually fall within a much lower range. However, cutoffs can vary each year based on the number of applicants, seat availability, and the difficulty of the entrance test.

hope this helps,

Thank you

want to know about MHCET Jee mains students counselling

Nitin Kumar 19th Jun, 2024

You can participate in MHT CET Counselling for admission into engineering colleges in Maharashtra if you:

  • Appeared for and qualified in JEE Main 2024.
  • Are a resident of Maharashtra or any other state in India. (There are a specific number of seats reserved for Maharashtra state and MHT CET qualified candidates though).

The MHT CET Counselling for JEE Main scores is typically conducted online by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra (SCET Cell).

The online registration window usually opens in the last week of June (expected in the last week of June 2024 for the 2024 admissions). You'll need to register on the official website of SCET Cell and provide details like your JEE Main roll number, score, and other required information.

After registration, there will be a document verification process where you'll need to upload scanned copies of your documents (e.g., JEE Main scorecard, admit card, class 10th and 12th mark sheets, domicile certificate, etc.) online.

During this stage, you can choose the engineering colleges and programs you are interested in based on your JEE Main score, seat availability, and preferences. You need to lock your choices by a specific deadline.

Based on your JEE Main score, preferences, and available seats, the SCET Cell will allot seats through multiple rounds of counselling.

If you are allotted a seat in a desired college, you'll need to pay the admission fees, report to the college for document verification, and complete the admission formalities.

i belong to obc 3b categroy so which categroy should i claim in cet counselling

Nitin Kumar 19th Jun, 2024

For MHT CET counselling, you should claim the OBC (Other Backward Class) category during the application process. The specific sub-category (3B) might not be directly applicable.

MHT CET counselling typically follows the reservation system set by the Government of Maharashtra. This system categorizes candidates into Open (General), OBC, SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), VJ/DT (Vimukta Jati and Denotified Tribes), NT (Nomadic Tribe), EWS (Economically Weaker Section), and PwD (Persons with Disabilities). While there might be sub-categories within OBC (like 3B, which you mentioned), the MHT CET counselling process might simply consider you under the broader OBC category.

my daughter scored 275 in neet score.wt r my possibility for up state counselling.wt r my options

kumardurgesh1802 16th Oct, 2024

Hello there,

With a NEET score of 275, your daughter's chances of securing a seat in the UP state counselling for MBBS or BDS may be challenging, but not impossible. Here are some key points regarding her options:

  1. Cutoff Trends : In the previous year, the cutoff for general category candidates for government medical colleges was significantly higher, often above 400 marks. However, for private colleges, the cutoff tends to be lower.

  2. BDS and Allied Courses : While MBBS may be difficult, pursuing BDS or allied health courses like BAMS or BHMS may be more feasible. The cutoffs for these courses can vary but generally require lower scores compared to MBBS.

  3. Private Colleges : Many private medical colleges accept students with lower NEET scores. While they may have higher fees, they could be an option if you are considering private education.

  4. State Quota Seats : UP has a certain percentage of seats reserved for state residents, and these can sometimes have slightly lower cutoffs compared to All India Quota seats.

  5. Further Opportunities : If she is open to taking a drop year, preparing for NEET again could improve her chances for the next admission cycle.

It's advisable to keep an eye on the official UP NEET counselling website and related announcements for the most accurate and up-to-date information on cutoffs and seat availability. For detailed information on counselling and college options, you can refer to resources like NEET Counselling (https://www.neetcounselling.com) .

maine josaa counselling me login kiya tha bs lekin koi choice fill nhi kiya kyuki mai drop le rha hun to iss wjh se mujhe agle saal josaa me koi problem bhi aaegi?

Abhishek 7th Jul, 2024

Hey there, hope you are fine.

If you are taking drop and not participating in the josaa counselling this year then it will have no impact on your upcoming participation in the counselling in the further years. The counselling takes place every year after jee advanced results are declared. The participation in this year counselling will have no impact on your  participation in the future.

So, you should not take tension and focus on your studies and perform better in the upcoming exams. Hope this resolves your query.

My jee mains rank is 176225 general, comedk rank is 37099. So should I apply for comedk counseling or CSAB or AKTU and if so, how should I proceed? I cant take a drop so kindly give some suggestions. And please also suggest me that whether I should sit in more than one counselling or not?

Prachi Kumari 20th Aug, 2024

Hello aspirant,

Given your situation, here’s how you can approach the counseling processes:

1. COMEDK Counseling

  • Chances : With a COMEDK rank of 37099, you may have a chance to secure seats in some of the decent engineering colleges in Karnataka, though top branches like CSE might be tough to get in the most sought-after colleges.
  • Process :
    • Register for COMEDK counseling.
    • Participate in the choice filling and locking process.
    • Keep a mix of colleges and branches in your preference list, focusing on those where your rank has a higher chance of securing admission.
  • Why Apply? : Since your COMEDK rank is relatively better compared to your JEE Main rank, applying here could be beneficial.

2. CSAB Counseling (for JEE Main Rank)

  • Chances : With a JEE Main rank of 176225, getting into top NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs might be challenging, especially for CSE. However, you might still secure a seat in lower-tier GFTIs or less preferred branches.
  • Process :
    • Register for CSAB Special Rounds after the JoSAA rounds are completed.
    • Fill in choices wisely, focusing on lower-tier institutes or branches that are less competitive.
  • Why Apply? : It's worth applying since the CSAB rounds can sometimes result in seats opening up due to dropouts or changes in preferences.

3. AKTU Counseling (for Uttar Pradesh Technical University)

  • Chances : Based on your JEE Main rank, you might have a chance to secure a seat in colleges under AKTU, though it might not be in the top branches or colleges.
  • Process :
    • Participate in the UPSEE/AKTU counseling, where you can use your JEE Main rank for seat allocation.
  • Why Apply? : If you are a resident of Uttar Pradesh or prefer colleges in the state, AKTU counseling could be a good backup option.

Should You Participate in More Than One Counseling?

  • Recommendation : Yes, participating in multiple counseling processes increases your chances of getting a seat in a college and branch that aligns with your preferences. You can always choose the best option available after the counseling results.
  • Strategy :
    • COMEDK : Prioritize this if you are interested in colleges in Karnataka.
    • CSAB : Use this as a backup for any possible seats in NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs.
    • AKTU : Keep this as an additional backup, especially if you prefer staying in Uttar Pradesh.

How to Proceed:

  1. Register for all the counseling processes you are eligible for.
  2. Fill Choices based on your preference, starting with the best possible option and then listing down to your backup choices.
  3. Monitor the Rounds : Keep track of the seat allocation rounds, and be prepared to make decisions quickly.
  4. Be Ready with Documents : Ensure all your documents are ready for verification during the counseling process.

By participating in multiple counseling processes, you maximize your chances of securing a seat in a decent college without taking a drop.

Hope it helps !
