CSC
Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you have got 96.76 percentile in jee mains February session and taking into consideration that your home state is Andhra Pradesh, it is still very difficult to get cse here or rather there is no chance to get cse here or in any good nit. Your predicted rank as per my calculations should be around 36k and in this rank you can get mechanical, civil, chemical, biotechnology, metallurgy in nit Andhra Pradesh.

hi,
see sastra university has two type of admission process for bachelor of technology
stream 1 - admission is based on jee main and IPE score. weightage is given for 25% to JEE Main 2021 scores and the remaining 75% will be given to marks scored in 10+2 or equivalent examination. 70% seats will be fills by stream 1 method of admission.
stream 2: admission will be based on Only 10+2 (or equivalent) normalized scores. 30% seats will be fills by stream 2 method.
based on each of the stream process, ranking and merit list will be prepared. so it is difficult to say any thing about cutoff since sastra university never reveals cutoff score. admission chances would depends on the number of students, choice of stream, seat intake available etc.

As you have mentioned about the vit cse category 1 cut off, so let me tell you that vit doesnt even release its cut offs so one cannot say anything about its category wise cut offs.
Last cut off released by it officially was around 4-5 years ago. So as per my knowledge the cut off generally stays between 5k rank. Upto this rank the seats are generally filled .

Dear Akshita,
Cutoff marks and rank are vary from year to year and this year it is in the running process so we can't tell you the exact data for this year but according to previous year you can estimate your place.
If you try to come under the rank of 10K in VITEEE entrance exam then their is a very high chance that you will get CSE and for IT come under the rank of 15K for the safe side. Actually it s hard to estimate the cutoff by marks because VIT have never disclosed the marks they only show you the rank and if you are coming under that rank then definitely you can get CSE at main campus.
For more you can go through with this link to know the previous year cutoff of VITEEE for each campus. https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/viteee-cutoff

Greetings dear apirant
Firstly, congrats on successful completion of your MET exam. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With 180/240, its quite possible to get CSE branch in their main campus, i.e. Manipal. The cut-off of CSE branch at Manipal campus was 781 in the year 2020. Just apply to their counselling process and as it is conducted in different rounds, your chances of securing a seat increases.

You can have a look at the cut-off trends from the above link.
Hope I've cleared all your doubts!!
All the best for your counselling process
Dear Aspirant,
VIT have the four campuses all over the India and every campus have the different seat matrix, they offer CSE not CSC so just talk about every campus-
1- VIT, Vellore
Total CSE seat- 1200, and with CSE specialization= 480 no of seats
2- VIT, Chennai
Total CSE seat- 660
So there is not a big deal to get a seat here, you just need a good rank.
Hi aspirant,
Congratulations on your wonderful performance in VITEEE. CSE in the Vellore campus is the most soughted course during the counseling period. The cutoff for core CSE is around 3000 and that with specialisation ends near 6k under first category. So with your mentioned rank, a CSE seat under second category will be available for your grabs.
You can check the past cutoffs at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/viteee-cutoff
Hope it helps!!
see cutoff score fluctuate every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, choice of stream etc. however we have previous years data for vit vellore and vit chennai, but at this score you have no chances for computer science for any of the college. vit bhopal is new Institute and has established on 2017, so it is expected that the cutoff score would lower for vit bhopal. however right now it is very difficult to predict about exact details and it also depends on number of applicants who would apply for cse at vit bhopal. however based on students review and demand of cse stream it seems tough chances for you to secure a seat in cse department at this rank.
so my suggestion is apply for others colleges as well apart from vit.
