I scored 58.60 percentile in mht law cet 2025 for 5 years llb programme i belong from sebc category MS student Can I get this college?

Nikita shahi 25th Jul, 2025

Hello aspirant,

A 58.60 percentile in MHT CET Law 2025 for the 5-Year Integrated LLB program under the SEBC category is considered on the lower side. It might be difficult to secure a seat in top-tier government law colleges such as ILS Law College, Pune or Government Law College (GLC), Mumbai, as these institutes usually have high cutoffs and intense competition, especially in the open and SEBC categories.

However, don’t lose hope you still have options. Based on previous years’ trends, you may still have a chance of admission in some decent private or semi-government law colleges in Maharashtra. Here are a few you can consider applying to:

  • Modern Law College, Pune it is  known for its academic environment and placement support.
  • DES Shri Navalmal Firodia Law College, Pune :  A reputed name with experienced faculty.
  • Dr. D.Y. Patil Law College, Pune this college offers good infrastructure and practical exposure.
  • Sinhgad Law College, Pune  A decent choice with affordable fees and active student life.

Apply during the CAP rounds and also stay alert for institutional-level admission rounds that some private colleges conduct if seats remain vacant.Keep a backup list of private law colleges outside of Pune or Mumbai where cutoffs might be slightly lower.

I scored 58.60 percentile in mht law cet 2025 for 5 years llb programme i belong from sebc category MS student Can I get this college?

Nikita shahi 30th Jul, 2025

Hello,

At 58.60 percentile in MHT CET Law 2025 and from SEBC category your admission to top government law colleges for the 5-year integrated LLB program is difficult. But you can still have a chance in mid or lower-tier private law colleges and some aided colleges depending on cutoff fluctuations. Some colleges may consider applicants around 50–60 percentile under SEBC, especially if rural or minority seats are left. You should definitely apply through CAP and include as many colleges as possible in your preference list. Also look at colleges outside Mumbai and Pune for better chances.

Is GDC samba has law course?is law course is available on samba gdc

SEJAL JAIN 24th Jul, 2025

No, Government Degree College (GDC) Samba does not offer any law courses like LLB or BA-LLB. It mainly provides undergraduate programs in Arts, Science, and Commerce under the University of Jammu.

However, if you're interested in pursuing law in the Samba region, you can consider private colleges like Bhargava Law College or R.K. Law College, which are approved by the Bar Council of India and offer both 3-year and 5-year law programs.

10 qualification taruvatha nenu law cheyyali anukuntunna mean exam untundhaa

sadafreen356 5th Aug, 2025

No, you cannot directly pursue law (LLB) after completing your 10th grade in India. The minimum educational qualification required to pursue a law degree is to have completed your 12th grade (10+2) from a recognized board, or hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline to enroll in a 3-year LLB program.

For those who wish to pursue law after 12th grade, a popular option is the 5-year Integrated LLB program (like BA LLB, BBA LLB, or BCom LLB), which combines an undergraduate degree with a law degree. After completing the chosen law program, you need to register with a State Bar Council and pass the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) to legally practice law in India.

Therefore, after your 10th grade, you must complete your 12th grade, possibly in a stream that aligns with your interests (like Arts or Commerce), and then pursue either the 5-year integrated program or the 3-year LLB after graduation, including clearing any necessary entrance exams like CLAT or AILET.
