Sir I have got 7. 4 in intermediate exam bipc in emcet 42 can I read dairy technology cource

Avinash Chinta 20th May, 2019
Hello Roshini,
First of all, we thank you for raising your queries to careers 360. As per the scores that you have specified for IPE and EAMCET your rank wouldn't be so good, It may be closer to 50,000.
We have dairy technology course available in TIRUPATHI but the closing rank was around 30,000 for OC. Unless you have a reservation, it's quite difficult for you to get a seat there.

I am adding our link which shows the list of colleges providing dairy technology..

Hope this helps and Good luck...!!

How are these colleges; I mean the placements and infrastrucure for the four Govt Dairy Technology colleges in Kerala under KEAM?

Amita Marotkar 19th Jul, 2019

Hello,

The placements in these colleges are high placement ratio and good salaries. All the food companies and dairy companied come in. Eg nestles, tetrapak, motherdairy Placements, and job opportunities are very good. Many companies visit fo selection. If you are good you get a high package offer. Overall at least 80% of students get a job. Placement is 80% sure. But it totally depends upon your marks in semesters.

HI my friend,

Yaaa sure BSc agri has a best scope in future .By seeing the current situation Bsc agri has good value. You choose a best college in india. Most of the government exam they have some reservation for b.sc agri .So if you have a interest in it no doubt you take and learn by full hearted definitely success is at your side.Based upon your intrest you choose the field.According to my opinion Agricultural Engineering has more scope in future

                                          Thank you

I am A PCMB combination student . I am weak in math . So I choose biology in icar ug exam then I eligible for dairy technology ?

Shreya gupta 21st Apr, 2019
Hi srijoy Mukherjee

So being a pcmb student is a positive point for you . You get a credit for that . Dairy technology is an under graduate course of B.tech. so your UG in biology degree would be different and this would be different .
Dairy technology is a 4 yr long undergraduate technology engineering course. During each semester, you will  have to face different sets of theoretical subjects as well as practical workshops and lab sessions.
This is  surely an interesting course that you chose .
The eligibility criteria for this course is :

12th science stream students who have passed their 12th board exams from a recognized board are eligible to pursue this course. Only mathematics group students are eligible. This makes you eligible for applying for this course .
But a Minimum marks criteria exists as well . Generally, it is between 40-50% marks in PCM subjects.

I hope I was helpful thank you

How many mark secure in gujcet for it???

Kritika Gupta 21st Apr, 2019

Hello Chauhan,

The GUJCET cut off for the year 2018 was as follows:

1. Open Category ( sub cat- others) - 36292

2. Others (sub cat- TFWS)  - 10341

Since the cut off is available in the form of rank,  I cannot tell you a particular mark.  To be able to apply to GUJCET itself, you need 45% marks in your 10+2 examination.

For other details regarding GUJCET cut offs,  check here :  https://www.google.com/amp/s/engineering.careers360.com/articles/gujcet-cutoff/amp
