Thank you !
Dear applicant considering the ongoing scenario the world needs Data Science in almost every fields. So the demand of Data Science Professionals have also increased. Its good if you are doing classes from UPGRAD, EDUREKA but I do not suggest you to spend so much money on that. Rather than that you can try for other online platforms like Coursera, Udemy, HP, Udacity where you can easily do the course without spending so much of Money.
Hope it helps!!
Hello.
Data science related workers are engaged in tasks such as preparing datas such as cleaning, organizing, etc. They help companies in preparing the right kind of strategies and taking the necessary action. They are given the responsibility of handling a large amount of data. For more information follow the link given below:-

Best wishes.
All the topics you have mentioned, have really good options in the Industries. Now I would recommend that going for the Block chain or Data Science will be a very good choice. The recommendation is based on the number of openings per company available for such specialized engineers. So you have a lot of vacancies available for this technologies. Now Cloud Computing and IOT can be a good option provide you should have very good understanding about this. This fields are still developing and have very active region of working. So until and unless you are 100% suitable for it, it would be hard to get the job. Companies recruit less Cyber Security engineers as a result its a demerit from the job perspective.
You can follow the above strategy to have a good career ahead.

Hello,
Hope you are doing good!
BSc Data Science is a 3-year full-time course that comes under the domains of Computer Science, Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. Data Science is an interdisciplinary subject that includes the use of Statistics, Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning and related aspects in order to understand the problem or phenomena with respect to a set of real-world data. Data science courses are about analyzing trends using data but it is through Machine Learning that data scientists are able to use algorithms that detect such trends. Data Science Courses help in analyzing information from multiple sources to gain maximum insight that gives a company a competitive advantage.
This course’s applications are in the sector such as Marketing, Banking, Operations, Healthcare, Human Resource, Supply Chain, Insurance & Finance, and Genomics. Some subjects in this course are Programming in C, Data Structure Lab, Basic Statistics, Linear Algebra, Cloud Computing, Operation Systems, Machine Learning.
Yes, it is definitely possible for commerce or computer science students to move to data science.

Thank you!
If you carefully analyze the domains of Data Science and Machine Learning , you will realize that math and statistics form the core of these specialized streams. I would say you are better equipped to enter Data science than your peers who took up science.
The only thing which you should focus on now is building complimentary skills and certifications through colleges that hold a strong pedigree. You can compare and analyze the ones that best fit your needs. Along with learning data management, which is a great complementary skill to AI , it is essential to focus on other streams such as Deep Learning and enterprise-based AI solutions. These skills will make you a full stack skilled professional to enter the domain of AI and Data Science.
Your learnings as a commerce student with a math background would give you a head start in understanding multiple statistical algorithms which form AI solutions. To be better equipped in solving practical industry based use cases, here is a suggestive list of functions that you may focus upon, to be the best for the industry.
Big Data management and data pipeline management.
Core understanding of how ML works and the various algorithms that can be readily used based on the use cases.
Deep understanding of the domain where AI solutions are being implemented and established. Some popular areas can be Retail, Oil & Gas and Finance.
Data representation and visualization.
Managing continuous learning and data discovery platforms.
Hands-on popular tools and languages such as Jupyter notebooks, Google colab, python, R,SAAS solutions and open source libraries.
With add-on skills and learning streams, you can establish yourself as a professional in the Data Science & AI domain. As you gain actual hands-on and solve pragmatic case studies you will see your career grow exponentially to further explore multiple domain implementations and solutions.
Hi aspirant,
I would surely suggest you to go with computer science and engineering core and not with specialisation in data science because it may limit your opportunities. When you have a core subject you will be thaught all the important concepts of programing and coding so you are free to opt for any specialisations at your will and whatever suits you the most you can master that topic for better employment opportunities. Now talking about what the problem is with specialisation in in data science if you have decided that you will make a career in data analysis and research then it is absolutely ok to go for it else you would feel it as a burden because it will increase the number of your credits that's the number of subjects you need to study.
