Hi Dear,
Data Scientist is a technical course and involves use of subjects like Machine Learning, Data Analytics, python etc. A student with B.Tech / B.E. or M.Tech / M.E. degrees is generally preferred. However, if you take commerce, you can pursue your bachelors in statistics and learn relevant skills required for data scientist and pursue higher studies in the same field to become data scientist.
Good Luck
Hi,
Data science include data analysis and problem solving. The job of a data scientist is to analyse the data's available and to finding solutions for complex issues. So comparatively the salary is higher for data scientists in India. The salary is determined based on the experience of the applicant, organizations, working place, skills etc. For a beginner an average of 6Lpa can be expected. As the experience and skills of candidate is higher the salary will be increased. However the salary of a fresher in the field of Data science is good.
Hello aspirant
Yes I suggest you to give Engineering entrance examinations so that you can get into some great college and your journey to become a data scientist would become significantly easy.
I would suggest you to first focus on the main subjects like maths and basic programing. You can also pursue some online courses in relevant programming language and data science.
There are many great platforms available where you can learn more about data science and start your journey. You can learn on udemy, coursera etc. They are very helpful.
All the best.
Thanks.
Hey Ameer
To become a data scientist you have to study programming (python and SQL), machine learning and statistics along with advanced math and data wrangling. You can read Data Science From Scratch (https://www.amazon.com/Data-Science-Scratch-Principles-Python/dp/149190142X/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=data+science+from+scratch&qid=1572967470&sr=8-2) by Joel Grus to start with and Python for Data Analysis: Data Wrangling With Pandas, NumPy and IPython by Wes McKinney (https://www.amazon.com/Python-Data-Analysis-Wrangling-IPython/dp/1491957662/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Python+for+Data+Analysis%3A+Data+Wrangling+With+Pandas%2C+NumPy+and+IPython+by+Wes+McKinney&qid=1572967545&sr=8-1) I hope this helped.
Hello Apu sarkar, Both the Universities are best for bsc and infastructure is also good but facilities are more in TIU like sports campus, wifi campus, and many more and they all are not in MAKAUT and placement is also good at TIU. So I personally preferred you to go for TIU.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
