With a Rank of 2490 in NEET MDS 2021, assuming you are from OPEN Category, I believe you have bleak chances in securing a seat in MDS at any Government Dental College. However, do keep hope and participate in the Counselling.
However, there are many Good Deemed Universities, State Dental Colleges as well as Private Dental Institutes accpeting Students in MDS on basis of NEET MDS Score.

Hello
Both Dental and ayurveda have a good scope in future. If you are interested in ayurvedic, you can go through BAMS or if you are interested in dentistry, you can go through BDS.The candidate having the BAMS degree is eligible to do the private practice and eligible to be called as a doctor. They also have opportunities in govt sector like ayurvedic pharamacist etc.and they also have opportunity to open their own retail shop of ayurveda medicines. They can also find employment in private and government ayurveda institutes for teaching field.
BDS has a good scope in future. They have plenty of good jobs and higher study opportunities available after getting the degree in dentistry as a doctor.BDS graduates also have opportunities in top dental colleges for teaching .The initial salary of dentist is 15000 to 30000 per month.Based upon interest you can choose.in my point of view BAMS is better because the demand of BAMS is increasing day by day.Hope this information helps you.
All the best.

Hi. The 12th edition should be good enough to prepare for NEET MDS 2020, which is almost a fortnight away now. You are already versed with the format and the way the book has been written. If you buy the new edition right now and it has a lot of changes, it will only lead to confusion.
However, you can purchase the book online on kindle if it is available there if you are preparing for neet mds 2021. That way you can compare the two.
Hello candidate!
We have separate counselling for the MBBS BDS courses and ayush courses.
since for getting a seat in MBBS or BDS you need to go for one counselling after the finishing of this counselling you will have another counselling of ayush courses.
just like the same how the counselling process has been went for MBBS and BDS you will have a same procedure for ayush courses also it is known as ayush counselling it is also for both all India quota and state quota as well and ayush counselling for all India quota has also been started and for particular state quota it is also been started.so we want to get admission in any of the Ayurvedic, homeopathy, unani or siddha courses then you need to go for the ayush counselling.
I hope that I clarify your doubt and everything is clear to you.
Thanks!
Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as general.
