can i get admission in nims dental college rajasthan with 400 marks in neet?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 17th Aug, 2020

Nidhi, you haven't mentioned your Category. Nevertheless, in 2019, under State Quota, the cut offs for NIMS College for BDS under various Categories have been as follows:

General Category: 322

SC; 127

ST:126

OBC: 129

Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. For a seat in this College 400-425 is an ideal score if you belong to General Category and 400 is good enough if you belong to Reserved Categories. The Supreme Court has dismissed all the PILs requesting for Cancellation of NEET and JEE Mains citing Studen'ts future. So NEET will happen as scheduled on September 13th with adequate measures taken. And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . And because you have 27 more days to prepare for NEET, you may as well use this opportunity. Meanwhile, there are many fake online petitions going on asking you to fill up google forms to postpone the exam. Do not fall prey to it. It is the Government that has to take a call and these forms dont reach the Government. Instead you will be giving out confidential information. So be careful.

i wrote the neet exam 2020 and my score is around 320 ans i belomg to bc-b category in telangna . what medical or dental collages can i get into both governmnet and non government in telangana.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 25th Sep, 2020

With a score of 320, your rank might be approximately between 213657-228146 . This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank . Now regarding the Colleges that you may have a shot at, 320 is a less score for a seat even in Management Quota, You will need atleast 425 and above.

Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. i am from mp , with marks 440-450 which type of government college i get in mp for bams, bhms, Dental and which private college i would get in india for doing mbbs

pdwords Student Expert 25th Sep, 2020

Hello,

You haven't mentioned your category, this is important because cut-offs varies among categories, in case you belong to General Category the chances are very less to secure a seat in Government Medical College and Government Dental College as per previous year data, in case you belong to reserved category like SC/ST you hold chances of getting GMC and government dental colleges, cut-offs change every year based on various factors like top NEET score, difficulty level of paper, number of candidates appearing etc.

What is NEET 2019 cutoff for Bharti Vidyapeeth Dental College Pune? Can i get admission in 300 marks?

akashkumarpati.2000 25th Sep, 2020

Hey,

At first I would like to suggest you to go through the the previous year's cut-off details of Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College Pune described in following Careers360 article to gain a vivid perception regarding your query:

https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/bharati-vidyapeeth-dental-college-and-hospital-pune/cut-off?

After analysing it, you can observe that the last qualifying rank of this institution in 2019 was 154357 where your estimated All India rank must be in between 286265 - 326432 on the basis of your expected marks. For reference:

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor

If you're General or OBC category canditate so it's quite clear for you also that you don't have any kind of possibility to get admission in your desirable college with this marks and rank. But if you belong to SC or ST category, then there may be a little hope in this regard. You may check the following websites:

https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/bharati-vidyapeeth-dental-college-and-hospital-pune

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/maharashtra-mbbs-admission

However your rank is genuinely suitable for many other Private instituions in Maharashtra, you can also apply for those.

Moreover you can also check your admission chances through Careers360 NEET College predictor tool:

Hello,

With 470 marks your expected rank will be 72811 - 84961, you haven't mentioned your domicile state but through AIQ it's difficult to secure a seat in government dental  college belonging to General Category, as per previous year data the cutoffs have been comparatively  high, it's almost above 550,  .cut-offs change every year and based on various factors like top NEET score, difficulty level of paper, number of candidates appearing etc.

how many Marks are required for BDS dental in neet 2020 for sc category

Shreya Singh Student Expert 15th Aug, 2020

Hello,

As you can take the benefit of reservation by belonging to SC category. The cutoff for SC category is very low. That too for BDS is lower than MBBS. If you want to take admission in government college in BDS then your score must be more than 400-450. For private college the cutoff will be much lower than this.

All the best.

if not get seat in mbbs then to do dental is good option or physiotherapy.

Vaishak V Prabhu 11th Aug, 2020

In dentistry. you can get all the Class A jobs in govt. Or private hospitals. Dentists are in good demand in the the country and the scope is ever increasing with more health awareness and prosperity in India.
On the other hand physio therapy will also get you the prefix Dr. But the status will be of a para medic in ordinary circumstances. Be it government or private establishments your salary , post etc will never be equal to a doctor or a dentist.
But also demands attention if the high profile physiotherapists who make good money in gyms and with sports teams . these are people who would be extremely hard working , lucky and smart , all at once.
So make your choice carefully.
