Sir I got 438 marks in neet 19 can I got govt dentist college in Madhya Pradesh and I belong to general category?

Divya Jain 1st Jun, 2019
Hello aspirant,

You didn't mention your state of domicile here.

According to the statistical data of previous years,  I am sorry to say but grabbing a seat of BDS in a Government Dental College in Madhya Pradesh seems quite difficult with a score of 438 this year,  irrespective of the quota you're considering i.e. AIQ or state quota.
Since the cut off for last year was 463 and trends show that cutoff never really goes down with such a big margin.

Hope this helps in solviny your query.
Feel free to ask any further queries.
All the best for a bright future.

Is there more jobs available after bds

Himanshu Student Expert 31st May, 2019

This question is a frequent one and my friends and dentists have answered it well so on basis of those answers and my own experinence here is a list.

- assume you have already thought about conventional approach that is MDS, clinics, assistanship with other dentist etc.

-f you are starting with own clinic you should enhance your skills by pursuing some courses on aesthetic dentistry implants etc.

-ou can combine your aesthetic dentistry skills with skin cosemetics using lasers and open a full cosmetics clinic. You can look into Google for ILAMED which offers such courses in Hyderabad, Delhi etc.

-PH, MBA, MHA and MHoA there are many sources of information about these courses in Quora please have a look.

-pening a poly clinic please again look in Quora for details about poly clinic for dentists.

-edical forensics but all courses are available abroad.

-ourses on medical ethics and research ethics, Clinical research courses as India is a hub for international drugs research and you can find plenty of jobs in CRA.

-f you are into MDS then after MDS you can opt for NET exam which will help you into getting gov teaching jobs or get into serious research.

-lectronic Medical Records

-Insurance sector

Hope,this information helpful for you.Goodluck.

How is BHU for BDS?What is scope of BDS?What is salary for a dentist?

Deepjyoti Roy 3rd Jul, 2019

Hey Khushboo,

BDS is indeed a good field but it depends on your interest if you can become successful. As far as I know BHU is one of the best universities in India and has a very good faculty for BDS.

With just a BDS degree you won't get a lot of salary. You need to do some specialisation after your BDS for more field work. Then you can open your own clinic or join some good hospital. Your salary will be between 5-10lakhs on an average and if you become a really good dentist then the salary will surely hike up.

I hope this helps, good luck!
